It could very well be as was pointed out by some of more knowledgeable folks that the formula is meant to handicap us but it was sold as a fair system.
 
Either way, I don't care.  I'm just running the one 4P for this... planning on my other 4P to be up soon and of course looking at two G34's in about six months.
 
Unless I hit the lotto, then it's all over.  Period.  *evil laugh*

Well the issue I see, and I am sure the numbers brain trust is on it is that they are over double the production they where at last year if they used just the production numbers available from F@H then it would explain at least partially the issue.
 
The other noticeable thing is the sudden 50% increase in production jump that started yesterday.  anyway i'll leave it in the capable hands of the folks running the show. i am just here for the ride.

I think it should be waited out. You never know. maybe they just dropped allot of bigadv at the start.

Can i start my own team next year? i'll call it EVGA mini and it will be me and 3 other people... Then we will enter the contest and get 3 more people running BigAdv's and with these beautiful calculations.. I'll take home the jade monkey. 
 
Sorry... very few things annoy me. Just so happens rigging contests is one of them.

  Only thing I am not doing like I do most months .Is have one computer crunching.I really do not like 2 contests back to back like we ended up with .It hurts my crunching.But I will get over it Hehe

And no one should feel the need to apologies. getting multiple teams, with ever changing production, to actually talk together, consistently for a few months before the announcement of the CC dates, is like winning the lottery and one of the hardest things to do. Frankly all those that have tried so far, should be commended, not condemned. 
 
I for one have offered thoughts on these very forums and PM's... And at times my writing style can be perceived as hostile, when in fact my true intent is everything but...  
 
Damn proud of all of you, now let's worry about this year, win this thing, and worry about next years "Ten days" after this event is finished...

I cranked up my 570 (not mine its on loan lol) a bit much and needed to reboot to get it back on line - currently @ 849 core 1941 memory 900 core was a push to far sadly.
 
Barbarossa, nice to see you pushing out these points, It's great looking at my ppd now that 4p is a beast, thanks again 
 
I might consider an overclock to 2.1 after the CC (no point is trying to hard)
I still have much to learn, Ubunto 12.04 and musky's setup is next for me, I'll use a different HDD so I'll still have what you gave me as a reserve - I have screwed up in the past and may do again.
