Oh very nice! Had no idea they were doing both. Last gen they sold the waterblock separate. Thanks for the heads up!

Hey guys just a quick question,
I am starting my build with the 3090 KP Hybrid. The installation guide provides a diagram showing that it should be mounted with the radiator over the gpu card. So to speak, the radiator should be on top of chassis. As I need the upper side of the chassis to put the CPU radiator (custom WC), I am wondering if despite the installation guide it is OK to put the KP radiator under the GPU. I tried to find information about this but could not find anything related. Thanks in advance.

Miguel you can put the gpu radiator in front of the case as well. Top of the case is the best but I have the cpu radiator there. As long the tubes of the kingping are down and the top of the radiator is above the gpu. This is the way I have it. There is a long video in youtube where all this is explained. It's ok front mount.

Thanks menko2, the problem is that my new chassis only allows a radiator on top or bottom. Front side is a glass panel so there is no way to hold the radiator there. I think I have seen the video you are talking about from GamerNexus. That is why I came here to know if even if the best solution is to place it on top, putting it down the bottom will do for a while at least until a custom waterblock / HC version is released. Yes that's the video from gamernexus. It's so strange that we get the card in Spain from a retailer before many people in u.s. Normally we are the last. Once you install evga precision overclock utility will update the firmware of the card. it looks it breaks some users led screen in the card but I installed anyways.

It's going to take me a while until I turn on the PC with everything setup so I hope by the time I am ready to do so a newer version of it fix that issue xD. About Spain getting the card sooner than the US market I do not get it too...

That's correct. You want an AIO installed at least have the air trapped above the GPU even if the radiator is leveled with the GPU with the tubing at coming and going at the bottom half of the rad. If it's a custom liquid cooled PC, having a rad at the bottom or anywhere really won't matter as much as you'll have a reservoir somewhere in your loop trapping all the air.

IIRC, they stated that the length of the tubing would be 400mm. Now I'm not sure if modifying a AIO would be a good idea but that is up to you and know that you will void the warranty if any modifications are done from it's original state out of the box.

Anyone else experiences hotter GPU temps after turning off auto fan speeds? I'll see a 6-degree c difference by going from auto to 100% in precision.

Considering selling my 3090 kpe, because the lack of waterblock availability from evga, byskiky and optimus. my custom watercool build is on hold due to that. By the time a block is release, its going to be time for new card. Any thoughts?

One quick question.
Will my 3090 kingpin will get better fps at 4k with a intel 10900k or ryzen 5900x?
Both with optimal ram, motherboard, ssd,...

I'll be receiving my KP tomorrow and was wondering if there are any recommendations for stick-on heatsinks for the RAM on the back plate? Something like this perhaps? I had a 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid, and I had to run a desk fan across the backplate to keep the memory cool when mining ETH. When not gaming, I plan to have my KP mine ETH as well, but don't want the rear memory to be running at 100C plus for hours at a time.

I have not assembled my loop or block yet, but have purchased the following for the same reason you mention: 50x50x20mm aluminum heatsinks linkSelf adhesive thermal tape linkCrafting wire link - the crafting wire is to fashion some sort of clip to secure the heat sink(s) to the back plate - I will have my GPU mounted vertically, so I don't think thermal tape alone will hold them in place.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, those heatsinks look like they would be a lot more effective. Went ahead and placed order for all 3 items. I too am waiting on a block (or hopefully 2, front and back) for my KP. Rest of my system (5950X and VRMs) are already on water.

You can get the 1000w xoc vbios from techpowerup.com. The classified tool can be downloaded from the overclocking section of these forums. Specifically here... https://forums.evga.com/3...OC-Tools-m3154924.aspx
