Looks like they have all of them accept the 1080ti. I'm waiting for next gen though.

The prices for EVGA cards are still stupid.  I have noticed that their cards are staying in stock though, so hopefully that means no one is buying, and EVGA will be forced to bring their prices back down to normal.

EVGA does have a few cards on offer atm with rebates bringing them closer to or matching Nvidia store prices, for example the 1080 SC Gaming is $549US after rebates atm

Doubtful.  For the most part, Nvida's top end retail prices don't drop for the lifetime of the product. A 1080 Ti will be the same price until it drops off of their retail page. The earliest 'release date' rumors I am seeing for a '1180' or '2080' are this fall or Q3/4 for a 1080 Ti equivalent.  For Ti enthusiasts, the first half of 2019 looks like that window of opportunity.

True for Nvidia but the board partners like EVGA are charging inflated retail prices currently. There are rumors that we might be hearing something late May.

Okay? Maybe they announce a Fall release date for the 1180 or whatever they call it? I'm still predicting Fall. I could be wrong. I'm waiting for the next Ti model anyway. So it is going to be a bit.

More than likely the next gen video cards will use GDD6 and in my personal opinion that is what is holding up the next gen release. Sufficient quantities of that memory should become available in the weeks ahead.

I'm pretty sure you're right it's going to be GDDR6. My own birdies tell me they are still not that close to ramping up production, as far as I know, risk wafers are not even out yet.

Ha ha, nVidia already has thousands of wafers ready to go. They have them tested and sorted from the 1180 Ti all the way down to the 1160.

"Ha ha"....that would be a no then. There is nobody out there saying the XX80 Ti model is going to be out this year. What node and uarch is THAT model going to use? Or did you make a blunder in including the Ti model. My opinion is, based on the lack of evidence, is we won't see the XX80 model for months yet. Despite your rosy predictions, I don't see a Ti model until next year.

I never ever said the 1180 Ti would be out this year, I said nVidia already has 1180 Ti wafers. Don't put words in my post that I never used.

Oh, so you have an opinion that means you're right and I'm wrong? You're pretty humble.

what was this thread about ?

It's about the price of nVidia cards and them being in stock. Then people commented not to pay such a high price for a 2 year old architecture and to hold off and wait for the next series. Then people commented that the next series won't be out soon, while people commented the 11 series may be announced soon.

    That help you out?

    Got a link?

I have my own birdies, just like you.

Let me quote your unqualified assertion of fact of what Nvidia had tested:
"Ha ha, nVidia already has thousands of wafers ready to go. They have them tested and sorted from the 1180 Ti all the way down to the 1160."
You lumped them all together. I didn't put words in your mouth, I pointed out what would appear to be a GLARING MISTAKE in your assertion. Instead of saying oops, you tried to blame me when I was only trying to help you. I was also hoping that your mistake doesn't get cited as 'evidence' of the impending 1080 Ti you predicted. I mean, we do not want this to be just another WCCF where anything goes, ya know?

Okay, using your logic since YOU lumped all of them together without qualification, NONE of them will be out this year period.
At some point, you will admit you made a mistake and stop blaming me for pointing it out. It's kinda dishonest.

Pretty crazy that 2 years later prices are still higher than launch MSRP.

A big price gouge on consumers.

I made zero mistakes, you put words into my post. You're just mad that your birdies turned out to be your opinion (kinda dishonest) and you ask me to post a link.

What die is being used for the  1180 Ti you claim have been produced and tested in the thousands?  (mistake one) I made no assertion of fact as you did. Please tell us why Nvidia would test and produce thousands that will not be used until, at the earliest, next year. (mistake two) At some point, you'll quit blaming me for challenging YOUR assertions that you made in response to my opinion. (mistake three). As your history says you'll simply repeat your act, ta ta.

Zero mistakes that you can prove, you're just typing on your keyboard and getting nowhere. When I say thousands, I don't mean just the 1180 Ti wafer, it's all of them combined. You're really are reaching here.
