Hi everyone,
I just purchased an RTX 2070 Super from EVGA and its the model that has the RGB side panel. Well, my build mainly sticks with one color most of the time it's on, as that's what I usually choose for it to be, so I decided that it would be beneficial to try to download the Precision X1 app to have control over the LED options. Well, I am not able to apply the settings as the options don't show up on the bottom and I looked in the settings and everything to try to apply and save the custom options. I even downgraded to every version of the app and even resorted to downloading the Steam version but still ended in the same result. If anyone can help then that would be much appreciated.
-Thank You, CustomPCGamerYT

What exact model is this GPU?

You might need to check to see if it needs a MCU update by clicking at the bottom right icon "i" iirc.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

Its the EVGA RTX 2070 SUPER XC Ultra (08G-P4-3173-KR). I ordered it from my best buy and I just can't seem to find the buttons that would be at the bottom of the application itself.

No buttons at the bottom is extra weird..That's certainly a new one on me.

Uninstall Precision X1..Then restart your PC..Then delete the leftover EVGA_Co.,_Ltd folder normally located in the C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local folder *..Then install Precision X1 again.

    * Those folders are normally hidden so you need to set the folder View Options to Show hidden files, folders, and drives to see them.

Alternatively, you can use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall Precision and most leftover files/folders and registry entries..But be SURE you ONLY checkmark to delete the Precision registry entries shown in bold text..Then restart your PC..Then delete the EVGA_Co.,_Ltd folder..Then install Precision again.

See also: How Do I Troubleshoot Precision X1 Issues?

Try clicking the iCX button in the bottom-right corner and see if that makes temps at least appear.

Another thing you can try is after uninstalling Precision X1, turn off your PC, then turn off/unplug the PSU, hit the power button a few times and let it sit for a few minutes to dissipate residual voltage, then power back up and install Precision again.

You can always Contact EVGA Customer Service and see if there's an MCU Update for that card or if you can't get Precision to work.

I tried everything you guys are were saying (delete specific folders and reinstall the app, restart my pc, change the resolution) and yet the buttons refuse to show up. Thank you for going out of your guys' way to help but I think it's going to be something I will have to call EVGA to get it situated.

I think so too..It may be that Best Buy card that's the culprit..They have cards built to their own specs and it might have a different VBIOS than 'normal', which you could probably flash to a normal VBIOS.

I tried everything you guys said, increase the resolution, delete certain folders, etc. But they told me to try again with DDU and reinstall the latest driver. So I had to wipe the drivers from my pc, restart the PC, then reinstall the drivers. After that, I increased the output resolution to the max that I could, and restarted Precision X1 and then the buttons finally showed up on the bottom of the application.

Awesome   I pretty much restart my PC on almost every step that includes uninstalls, installs, etc. just to make sure the next step starts on a clean slate.

Best Buy does not have cards built to their specifications. It has a different serial number for price matching reasons.

Many times they have their own specs with a different VBIOS that has different clock speeds..That's what I 'heard' and I was under that impression.

Many of the BestBuy EVGA graphics cards I've seen lack the BIOS switch that the EVGA versions have even though they are nearly identical part numbers and the same model name.  I've seen the lack of BIOS switch on their GTX 9XX and GTX 10XX series EVGA cards.  I've also seen differences in their AMD GPU cards from different vendors as well.

Here is a former evga tech stating that the cards sold at best buy are pretty much the same card as the ones sold at the evga store... https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2522222
