Watching people get into a hissy fit over curating waiting lists is probably the low point I've seen of this whole debacle

You have no idea the money involved that element35 site is getting off this and telling people to only report emails to purchase to their site only does no good to this community.

Go ahead tell more lies...   The hissy fit starts with you, you know. smh

enewt has a screen shot of you telling people to do just what I posted. smh

Then what are waiting for? Post the screenshots. If you're right then will get what they deserved. :)

Those that use that elemnt35 whatever site code are just supporting scalpers IMO.

That's what I don't get...why are they turning it into a commercial enterprise with a .com a giveaway, account registrations, etc.  Are they selling the user data, about to put advertising on the website?  They clearly have to monetize their effort and the cost of the site, right?  Feels like every EVGA point they get is just going to go to buying EVGA product to scalp....

And at the same time they are telling folks not to report their receipt of an "invite to purchase" email anywhere except their site.

I don't get it.

Yeah, who knows what they are doing with people's data and are you kidding me on the bold part?

This screen cap was from a reddit post that somebody else started last Friday and in which folks were reporting their timestamps...

Wonder if they are going to release a 3090 ti

I think that might irritate a bunch of the Kingpin owners....

ban me if I am wrong, but aren't the 3080ti just a failed 3090 bin? and a stop gap between a low performing 3090 and a high performing 3080? so a 3090ti would have to out perform the kingpin, and those are at like what, 5% chance. so out of 100 boards they manage to bin 5 as a kingpin? I could see kingpin owners being cranky about that, but for the price of they paid I believe they have the means to upgrade again to push their performance..... right?

Why can't we work together and realize that enewt, scam36, and those who authored the spreadsheets and the website are helping out the EVGA community who are suffering from the GPU shortage.  Which ever methods that are used to track the queue, there will always be inaccuracies based on information supplied or not.  I know that I appreciate what enewt, kram36, bradsour/brenden77 have done for the community.  Just my two cents.

Agreed! I've seen inaccuracies in both spreadsheets and element35. It's better if there is only one source for tracking the queue, which is forum (being most accurate). Heck even better if EVGA themselves can provide official universal queue status.

I appreciate what enewt does just the same. He has to work hard to find all those time stamps.  I'm not discounting what he provides via his document. I have no idea who Kram36 is or what they bring to the table, but they seem pretty upset with us. The part I don't care for is people telling lies about us or making us sound evil. That does nothing to help the community. Do I encourage people to use the website, of course I do. No different then Enewt always giving a link to his summary page.

No offense to anyone, but let's not kid ourselves. Anyone helping is not doing so for purely altruistic reasons. That being said, I think it's great to have these ways to help track. Just would be nice to see the EVGA bucks get spread around a bit more.

You have no idea who I am because you don't frequent the forums enough, except to come here and pump your website. I've been here since 2009 with over 18k post and 60 blue ribbons. I actually contribute to the forum, not suck off it like you do.

You get 3% off everyone that uses your Associate Code and you telling people to only report to your site to push everyone out. I say you've made well over $10,000.

"to push everyone out"... nope.. i just want accuracy. I want 100% community participation. I don't think anyone has stopped reporting their timestamps here.

Maybe you're feeling pushed out, and that's why you're so upset?  Maybe you're not making as many EVGA bucks as you used to. Idk.. All i know is that i'm providing a service to the community, and in order to make that service better I need people to participate. ALL THE PEOPLES. LOL

This isn't about money/EVGA bucks for me, it's about providing the best estimate for the people. God forbid i try, right?

ps - I've got REAL paying work to do. So forgive me if i don't continue this ridiculous back and forth.

Yes, those are my words. I'm sorry for wanting people to participate in this community effort. <insert eye roll>

Enewt, you've been bad mouthing us from the start. The spreadsheets were never good enough for you. Now we've gone above and beyond to make better on being accurate, and yet here YOU are telling people we're scalpers. This is simply not true. There are far easier ways to scalp cards than waiting like everyone else in line. Your claim makes no logical sense. Scalpers don't wait. They're using bots to eat up inventory from Amazon and Best Buy. You're only lying about us so that people use your code instead.

<snip>

I want to be clear about this. I haven't been "bad mouthing" you. I have expressed disappointment about the spreadsheets...that, in my opinion, you failed to timely police it for errs, resulting in folks regularly getting confused about being "skipped"...and then leaving it to this and other communities to try to clean up the mess and comfort folks that they had not been skipped by explaining that the sheets "were wrong". My comments were directed at the sheets, not you. When you launched the site, I said publicly that I hoped it would be better policed and result in fewer errors and more accurate reporting; I still hope that. And I have not told people you were scalpers...but I did ask the question publicly as to why the .com, the  user registrations, the giveaways, terms of use, privacy policy, etc...all things that make your effort look like a commercial enterprise.

I will take you at your word that it isn't...but, on behalf of the community (and those trying to provide guidance to it...like myself and others)...please don't urge people not to report their successful registration timestamps...we are all trying to help here...and comment's like brenden77's in the screenshot certainly are not helping.

In other news, congratulations to those that received early timestamps on the reopened HC queues this morning. Just a word of warning if you are not familiar with open loops or, in general, with water cooling your rig. HCs are enthusiast cards and require more equipment, planning and overall effort (building and maintaining) than an AIO/hybrid or a standard air-cooled card. If you buying for a friend, a spouse or child, please think twice before spending money on a HC....

everyone who's supplying associates codes gets a kickback from whoever uses them. this isn't specific to him.

the service that the element35 site provides, is not functionally different than what enewt is doing. both are trying to provide queue tracking. so I don't mind if either of them advertise their associate codes. people are under no obligation to use them.

but this conspiracy theory and exaggeration is nonsense. just because he wants people to use his site doesn't mean he's doing anything nefarious. honestly to me it seems like he just likes his own solution and will of course recommend it.

I do find it shady for enewt (and anyone really, not just him) to embed their associate code into a link and obfuscate it so that it is hidden and not immediately obvious. I don't think anyone should be providing embedded links (it just seems scummy), but if you do at the very least you shouldnt be hiding it. let it be known and very obvious that you have embedded it, but allowing the link to be visible as-is without custom text hiding it.

I could care less about people using my Associate Code, that has nothing to do with it. People post in my queue threads all the time with their info and say they used enewt's Associate Code, no issue for me, great for enewt. I want accuracy and you telling people to only report emails to purchase to your website is not giving the forum members accuracy and crosses a line I feel is deceptive.

Good to see you stopped with the I don't know who this kram36 guy is crud.

So if I wanted to put my time into ALL of the tracking methods, which are currently up now? Just loaded into Element35 (#22 in line for the 3090 XC3 HC, hell ya). Are there any other spreadsheets or threads? Thanks to all you bros who are putting in so much work to make the tracking happen :)

It'll be so nice once supply catches up with demand and we can go back to a world where tracking isn't needed and people can just buy the cards they want at will.

I am curious on this too. I have an extra AIO Kit but don't have any water cooling rigs going at the moment, would love to swap this to replace a card and just pop my extra AIO kit I have not being used right now.  I would think it should work fine, since its the same reference board etc.

I am curious on this too. I have an extra AIO Kit but don't have any water cooling rigs going at the moment, would love to swap this to replace a card and just pop my extra AIO kit I have not being used right now.  I would think it should work fine, since its the same reference board etc.

It would work, just make sure to hold on to that waterblock in case you ever need to RMA the card. You need to send it back with the original cooler.

"You have no idea the money involved"    Do tell... i'll wait...

You get 3% off everyone that uses your Associate Code and you telling people to only report to your site to push everyone out. I say you've made well over $10,000.

everyone who's supplying associates codes gets a kickback from whoever uses them. this isn't specific to him.

the service that the element35 site provides, is not functionally different than what enewt is doing. both are trying to provide queue tracking. so I don't mind if either of them advertise their associate codes. people are under no obligation to use them.

but this conspiracy theory and exaggeration is nonsense. just because he wants people to use his site doesn't mean he's doing anything nefarious. honestly to me it seems like he just likes his own solution and will of course recommend it.

^This.

Are you sure it will work?  The hydro copper card SKUs aren't on the EVGA hybrid cooler kit compatibility list...

Probably because EVGA didn't expect people to take a killer water block off their card and put a Hybrid kit on it.

All of the XC3 models are the same PCB just with different cooling solutions attached. Same with FTW3. If the hybrid solution is designed for one model of XC3, it should work with all XC3 models.

Do you need a custom water cool block for the HC card?

You either need a full custom loop or a solution that merges, radiator, pump and reservoir with some distilled water to top off.  Like this.
Alphacool Eisbaer Extreme liquid CPU cooler core 280 - black edition AC-11608 (performance-pcs.com)

You'd still need a small amount of tubing and fittings, but that would allow you to use the pre-installed block.

Good luck with your que wait.
