Do you need a custom water cool block for the HC card?

there is a thread that talks about this named: "Can I replace the Hydro Copper block with the Hybrid AIO cooler on the 3080 FTW3 ULTRA" I cant link it i guess
So it saying you could replace 3080 HC with a hybrid kit as told by many ppl in here if you dont wanna do custom loops and keep the HC block.
