I found out something strange today everyone. I lowered my GPU clocks both memory and processor clocks. When I lowered them to about 1350/1350 the temps came way down. I slowly started to raise the clocks backup and now they are at default levels and the highest temp is 60C for the present WU I am on. However if I click on display that doesn't work. I now believe this is a driver based issue.
Any details yet?

Even though my GPUs are stable at 95 degree with the 6800 WUs, temperatures of 90ish cause these 803X WUs to fail. I'd suggest lowering your clocks or voltage a bit.

SirWaWa I am getting a lot failed work units on my second gpu says unstable machine temps are borderline okay 1) if you are involved in the contest, give your team leader a PM 2) i was having this problem. I'm told its a byproduct of the whql driver. I solved it by adjusting my power settings to don't turn off the monitor, no screen saver. you could also get a different driver and it might help.

I'm still experimenting with different drivers but I have left my GPUs far underclocked otherwise they are close to 100 degrees C. I am lovin' these new WU's. Nice bump in ppd and staying around 70C with 80% fan. They also take two hours less, making them good for a quick GPU blitz.

I'm running a GTS 450, 65C, 60% fan, I had to bump it up from 50% as the last few days have been hot here 30 - 35C with 80 - 95% humidity. Core 848, Shader 1696, Mem 1796. 8031 7 WUs 8032 14 WUs 8033 10 WUs No failed WUs. If it weren't for it being hot days GPU would be 60 - 65C at 50% fan. I bumped the fan to 60% cause the hot days were making GPU 71C.

I've definitely noticed an increase in PPD on my end: The unstable machine error was after a 1Ghz overclock on the 560 ti's unfortunately. Looks like if I want 1Ghz i'm going to have to bump voltage up one notch.

Im getting roughly 3850 per WU. I think they've nicked the bonus off them OR they're just not being handed out quite so much. My PPD on the gpu seems to have dropped off greatly (Could be my imagination) Now getting 13k PPD on a 460.

SirWaWa I cannot confirm this but I think these WU's have ruined my psu random shutdowns from a suspected weakened 12v rail isn't the HX1050 like 2 x 500w PSU's in 1? you may not have the system load split properly between the +12 rails.
