It was rumored for the cards to be released on Dec 2nd, but as far as I know nobody expected an auto notify queue to launch today. On another note, good luck to anyone trying their f5 luck with BB, Newegg or anywhere else in a few hours!

I Got my notify e-mail for the 3080 ftw3 ultra hybrid at 10 AM PST 10G-P5-3898-KR Dec. 1st, a week ahead of what I was expecting, and missed the window to buy. I e-mailed support, but don't know if I got the correct e-mail address, or how likely they are to give a bit a leway with the 8 hour time limit. I'm hoping I can get a replay soon, don't want to spend 2 days wondering if I'm totally out of luck or not.
Kind of wishing a set an alarm to wake and check my e-mail every 6 hours or so.
Anyone had any luck getting a little extra time from support, and if so, how/where did you e-mail them?

Got my 3090 FTW3 Ultra installed. It's big. I specifically focused on EVGA cards for the 30 series because they are shorter and can fit into my box style case (Corsair Air 540). I was barely able to fit the 3090 in. There is about 0.5-1mm of room between the end of the card and my CPU radiator fans; I can get a sliver of light through from my phone's flashlight. I did a quick test and this card is indeed doubling up my old 1080 Ti!
I have a ROG Swift PG27UQ monitor which is G-Sync and can do 4k @98Hz w/HDR on and 4k @144Hz w/HDR off. In The Witcher III, the 1080 Ti would get me a playable 50-65 fps consistently at 4k. In a very quick test, the 3090 had me hitting 98 fps ~80% of the time and dropping no worse than 90 fps in 4k w/HDR on. Fantastic! The 3090 is pegged at 100% but my aging i7-7700k OC to 5.0 Ghz is only at 35-40%. I think I can get more life out of my CPU for now. 
Also, I bought 2 "upHere" anti-sag devices from Amazon. One was an L-shaped arm that screws in directly with the card. That product didn't seem to fit the 3090 as its L-arm didn't reach around the edge of the fatter 3090 card. The other one was a stand-up bar with arms. That is, it has a metal base with a magnet so you stand it upright on the bottom of your case and then position an adjustable bar to hold up the back end of the GPU. That one worked fine for me and I was able to nudge the card up slightly and get it to be measurably level. Search Amazon for "upHere G205".

I also bought an upHere support bracket that sounds like the one that didn’t work for dpt17, except I mounted mine from the three open slots below my 3090 and the slider slides up from below to support the card. The stand up one was too short to reach the card from the bottom of my huge Corsair Obsidian case! The 3090 actually did have some noticeable sag before I installed the support bracket.
That's a good point. I recall trying to slide it down slightly (one slot) and not liking how it was going to work. The pictures on Amazon show it being used in an arm fashion wrapping around the the front and bottom edges of the card. I suppose it could be flipped over and positioned directly underneath too (with no wrap around). At any rate the upright stand one worked fine in my particular case and did reduce some mild visible sag so I just went with that. FWIW, I have no plans to return the arm-shaped one to Amazon; I fully expect it could get used in some future build.

Microcenter.com has 3070,3080, 3090 complete computers to purchase online. And a crap load of rtx3060ti .. my local Microcenter in Ohio has 300+ cards 🤣😅

I have one Live.com email and a gmail.com email, and I signed up with the live account, which is not attached to my EVGA, and when my notice came through, they said that it was attached to the email that it was sent to and couldn't be changed to my gmail. I am pretty sure the time limit is a hard limit unfortunately.

For the record: 08G-P5-3667-KR 12/1/2020 6:47:28 AM PT - it will be for a gift depending how soon they start coming off the line.
I'm really wanting to score a 3090 FTW3 Hydro Copper or a 3090 K|ngP|n Hydro Copper, but I think I might have better luck just buying a lottery ticket. 
It's easy. You just have to be online and watching when the auto-notify button goes live. If you have a LOT of time on your hands and can monitor the website you will get your 3090HC.
On the other hand, if you are working all the time and can't sit at the computer all morning (that's when the auto-notifies go live) you get nada. Unfortunately, I am in that situation. These brief appearances of the auto-notify button are really bad for me. It basically means I'm cut. I had an auto-notify for an air cooled 3080 FTW Ultra that already passed, but I removed it just before my time stamp came up because I really want a 3080HC. I don't want another card with loud fans. I could have been a dick and scalped the air cooled 3080 like so many others are doing right now, but I hate scalpers and I certainly don't want to become one. I wish EVGA would make the auto-notify button live for more than 90 seconds so I can get a time stamp. I don't care if it's months down the road. I don't want to have to go with another brand, but if it's impossible for me to even get a time stamp I guess I have no choice.
Yeah it was just total chance that I happened to see that 3060Ti - I was actually checking for the 3090 HC / K|ngP|n HC at the time. I'm working full time too, but I telecommute so I am able to look at the site every now and then if I'm not in a meeting or tied up doing some other work. I don't see much chance of getting a HC card, considering when they came up a few weeks ago, the slots filled up in seconds rather than minutes.

Zero chance of you getting an extension I'm afraid. Seen a few people miss their notification, and EVGA said no to any extension request, which is fair enough. 8 hour window is reasonable, it was originally 3 hours which was harsh so at least they increased it. Bummer that you missed it. Even a week out I was feverishly checking my emails constantly, and aware that they only sent them out during their business hours in CA so that narrowed down the window an email might arrive each day. All I can suggest is put yourself back in the notification queue, eventually it will come up again.

Hundreds? They don't get released till 9am EST (supposedly) and lucky for the ones that have a Microcenter near them. Unfortunately I'll be hitting F5 like crazy trying to snag one from someplace

I think for releases of whole new models it's 6am PST if it's something evga specific, a variation it might be between the 6AM and 9AM timeframe.
