I'd rather wait for the EVGA anyway - don't fancy spending the the rest of the day refreshing my browser for a Foundation.

Newegg had the Gigabyte cards but took them down.

They are all showing out of stock now. Even the few ASUS cards with "add to cart" throw an error when you click.  Madison Heights MicroCenter showed over 125 cards in-stock across 9 SKUs just before 9am but now are all "limited availability".

CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x Stock
CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Elite
Motherboard - MSI B450-A PRO

GPU - EVGA 3080 XC3 Ultra Hybrid Conversion
OS SSD - Kingston A400 M.2
SSD - Samsung EVO 860 1TB
HDD - Hitachi Ultrastar 2TB 7200 RPM

Newegg had all 3060 TI models listed but never saw them come "in stock"

Do I look like a mushroom?.
No, then why do you keep me in the dark?.

how much time does it takes to build 100 video cards? why is the queue moving 5 people per day? I don't understand the problem at all...

The queue isn't a complete list - its just to get a benchmark of what time the last drop of the day is. For very person in the spreadsheet there's probably double digits of people that are in queue but haven't put their name down in spreadsheet. So for a drop that gets 20 people crossed off the list probably meant anywhere from hundreds to thousands of cards were released.

Yup, super frustrating when you can't add them to cart when they show "add to cart"

Micro center has them by me. For the 3060 I'd just be using it as a rental and go into the step up for the 3080 ti so I decided against the hour drive

Had a chance to land a 3070 and a 3060ti yesterday but neither are worthy upgrades to my 2080 super.  Don't get me wrong, the 3070 is def an improvement but not 500 dollars worthy.

I'll just keep waiting patiently for my 3080.  Here's to good drops today!

I have no microcenter in my state and currently have a 1650 super so anything is an improvement on my end lol.  Evga, Gigabyte or Asus is what i'll take right now.  Preferably Evga but if I get either of the other 2, so be it.

Pretty sure we'll have some drops today based on what Jacob said. Production must have completely stopped during the holiday break for the cards.

So the only way to get a 3060ti here is through the auto notification email?

yes sir

Thanks!  I signed up shortly after 9am PST yesterday, I don't feel so confident atm.

I'm still waiting on a notification and I signed up at 6:35AM PST yesterday... I don't think the product page was even up much earlier than that!!

Yeah...  The Dallas MicroCenter shows to have about 150 or so 3060 Ti cards across 9 SKUs.  I'm hoping that this MIGHT mean a decent number of these at Best Buy so MAYBE I'll have a chance to snag one.  The Dallas MicroCenter is about 90 minutes away for me and between kids and work just wasn't possible.

They dont make cards in the US, manufacturers are in Taiwan mostly, and they dont even celebrate Thanksgiving. Production’s still slow as usual tho, just the process’s been delayed on the corporate end that’s all.

I've been tracking pricing on eBay and StockX and have seen prices shoot up and supply start to dwindle. There has been a general lack of drops and if I had to offer a hypothesis it would be because of the 3060ti cards. There is a chance, somewhat commented on by some youtubers (e.g. GN), that we can expect larger drops at the end of the month and they are switching away from air freight to primarily container shipping.

I'm starting to get frustrated as I'm using integrated graphics in my new build and have days off at the end of the year - I was hoping to get some relaxation in with Flight Sim and didn't think it would be a problem when I first signed up for the auto-notify. Now I'm kicking myself for not deciding on a 3090.

Depends which model you signed up for. I have 9/22 for the XC Black notify and still haven't received anything.

I don't understand why EVGA doesn't just fill their entire queue first instead of sending them to Micro Centers/Newegg/Amazon.  You have 100+ at some Micro Centers....

Contractual obligations, no doubt, and probably shipping capacity.  Their notification service actually strikes a pretty good balance between direct customer service and vendor relationships.

They have contracts with retailers and a specified amount always goes there. Just like they have contracts with pre-build.companies. Selling B2B is always a guaranteed revenue flow and keeps this relationships strong. They can make more money selling direct but it doesn't bridge cash flow and revenue as easily as B2B orders.
