Hello all, I started folding a couple weeks ago after upgrading my home computer and getting a EVGA video card. After I visited the EVGA web site and saw the folding at home page I figured I would give it a try on some of my machines and see how well I did. It has proved to be very addictive so far! My folding name is egarrett BTW.

Hello Fellow EVGA fans! I'm new to folding and had to join team EVGA! I'm using an old 8800GTX right now but i'm in the process of upgrading. I'll definitely be going with EVGA again, this card has treated me well!

Hiya all...new folder here. I have been meaning to look more into folding@home for some time, and am glad I could do it on the EVGA team. Although I have only joined the forums in last few months, I have been a long time EVGA supporter/fan. Can't wait to learn more and do my part to help the cause.

Hello eVGA folders! I have been folding for a different group for years but they have dropped out of the top 100 and lost a lot of people along the way. I recently built a new rig and due to my evga parts used (X58 sli x3 mobo and gtx 570) stumbled across this awesome team! Fun fact: my old pc but up about 500,000 points over its 6 year lifetime with off and on folding, while my new rig has already passed 200,000 in 2 months! I run the gpu3 client most of the day and occasionally get my i7 920 running 4 instances of the console cpu client. I don't think I get enough CPU folding in to use the smp client(opinions?) Anyway, hello all and happy folding!

Opolis. If you're nit folding 24/7 on that 920 I wouldn't bother with the bigadv client. But, if you want big bonus points I'd go for bigadv's

Hi Guys, Found out about folding by researching Graphics cards on this site, decided to go with 2x GTX 570s and started folding last night. I dont plan to be folding 24/7 but will do it as much as possible using FAH GPU tracker to utilize both GPUs at once

Welcome to the forums and the team!!!! You can set the oneunit flag in tracker to complete one work unit (wu) and it will stop until you restart it. That way you know you finished the WU before you turn it off.

Welcome to the team. Folding (as you probably know) is more stressfull than intel burn (IMO). So I would lighten up on the OC a little and give the smp a shot. Don't forget to get a passykey from Stanford if you don't have one yet. Not too sure about the networked computers but there are some guys that do it here so I'll let them chime in. You may want to start a new thread about it.

Hi guys, I've been folding for a few months now under a different team, but now have decided to switch over to gain a few evga bucks. (I plan on letting Evga suck quite a few bucks from my wallet, might as well get a couple back) Got to finish the sr-2 build after all. Gratuitous.

Did you set up tracker? Thats program will show you your points and progress. You can get a passkey here for bonus points if you're folding SMP clients. To get your points to show up under you avatar enter your folding name on this page/ middle column/bottom.

Welcome back. A passkey is needed to get bonus points for SMP and bigadv work units. You can get it from Stanfords site. I posted the link in my reply above. Let me know if you need anymore help.

The easiest way to set all of your clients is to use GPUTracker it's in the help and guide section. I'm on my phone or I'd link it for you.

That looks great! The CPU client is a unicore client made for older chips. SMP is the correct one. Good Job.
