At first wasn't to sure what folding was all about until I took a good look at the Harvard website.  It may not be much but I'll do what I can till I get my other rig up and running.  I have my PS3, stock Gateway lx-6801 with 9600gtx, running now I will keep it running until they shut off from overheating or simply die.

We all have our reasons and here is mine

I remember my grandfather who died several years ago, he suffered from Alheimers and was a veteran, granted I never knew he was in the army until he died, due to the fact to him I was my father.  He would refer to me as his son and treated as if he was my father.  I remebered him cooking but never took real notice the fact he cooked so much when he did.  He thought he was at his soup kitchen and he was preparing for the troops.  He was a heavy drinker and memories went all to hell after a few drinks, my name would change several times (this actually happened when he wasn't drunk also).  I was called by all my uncles names.  I love my grandfather and I miss him dearly I'm just glad there is a way I can help.

Also I have a nephew who has cystic fibrosis who life expectancy has increased dramatically. At first 5 years, then 15, and now he will reach well over 30 but due to his meds is now having trouble with his digestive system, this Christmas was the first time I've seen him and actually talked to him without someone pulling him away from me.  This year they will be removing the drainage tube from his lungs that cyou can clearly see though his chest, I called him Neo and made some Matrix joke up.  He's a great kid and deserves the extra years, now if only he would stop smoking the "medicinal" marijuana.  One day in the near future I'm going to build him a pc and get him off that damn xbox.

Welcome to the team!  Out of curiosity, what's the 9600gtx's temps?

It is a  GIGA-BYTE GeForce 9600 GT 1GB GDDR3 SDRAM.  It is fanless Idles 42C 65 while folding not bad considering it doesn't have a fan.
