Junglekorak Is that EOC id necessary thing? BTW, just got my first SMP bonuses and also break 300k :) Not necessary, but it gives you nice stats like eg. trends.

Only if you want to see your stats on GPU tracker. You have an OC ID. We all do.

Not new to FAH but coming back after like 9 months of not doing it. Running it on my 260 FTW (soon to be a 560 hopefully) and SMP on my i7-860. Still using the 6.29 cpu client need to get the 6.3 downloaded and configured I guess. The 6.29 seems to be working fine though.

Make sure you have a passykey from Stanford you can get it here. You will need to fold 10 SMP's with that passy key. After you do that you can start folding bigadv's. They take about 2-3 days depending on the WU but you will get around 73,000 points of you finish within the deadline. Use this program to set everything up. It will take 5-10 min to set up and it will manage all your clients. PM me if you need help.

Hiya! New folder for the EVGA team, although I've been folding for several years on my own and for other forums. Figured I might as well join this team as EVGA is my favorite brand of video cards. I use the tray version of the GPU client on this PC. About to purchase a new 560Ti for my second rig that I'm building. Will post that set up once it is done. I fold just because it is a good thing to do but also for family members lost to cancer and my grandmother who died of complications from early onset Alzheimer's. My best friend is a PhD candidate in cellular biology, so I've seen data and research related to protein folding. See you all around the forums.

Not new, but returning to the EVGA folding flock. I should be cranking up my E8400 and new 560Ti tonight. Once the new SB mobo's get back on the shelves, I'll be unleashing my 2600K on F@H as well. It's been a while, so is Jedi's client all I need?

valotor I'm still trying to get this folding thing figured out I can't find were to sign up Circle the wagons everyone, we have a live one here. (just kidding) It's been so long, I forgot if there was a sign up process. I believe you just enter a username in the client and you're automatically signed up when you finish a work unit. http://folding.stanford.edu/English/Download#ntoc2 Don't worry. We'll talk you through it. Start with the Tracker. This will download the clients for you. In the Setup, try the SMP client with your i3. That should net you about 3,000 points per day. Don't bother with the bigadv. I don't think the advmethods does anything these days but select it anyways. In Tracker click on the Autodetect GPU button and this will config your 9800. Mine gets between 5-6k ppd. This of course assumes you are running 24 hours per day which you don't have to. http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=219556

Hi Fellas, time for first post on this forum :) I am new both to eVGA and your folding team. I just got my first eVGA product and it will not be my last (starting to look at the SR-2). I have been folding for a team here in Iceland but there is no ambition there so I have just moved over to eVGA team. Hope that it is ok, and a good change to be the small fish in the big pond and have higer goals. I am around 57-60k PPD at the moment and fold 24/7
