driver doesn't work on my build with my 780Ti classified. 
tried both doing a normal install or a clean install. 
 
everything goes fine untill it starts installing the actual driver. then it just goes black screen with my screen not getting signal. waited for 20 minutes still nothing.
 
computer restarts then I Get a pop up saying that nvcpl.dll is not a valid win32 application. first time I tried opening geforce experience and that caused it to blackscreen again.

You either have faulty memory or a failing hard drive.

I highly doubt that. I have been installing and doing heavy rendering and work on this PC for days. the only thing that ever gave any issue is this driver. so I don't think it's going to be faulty hardware else other things would be messing up too.

I've done the same thing, as long as every thing is working you should be fine

Generally shouldn't need to uninstall them,  just make damned sure they aren't running when you update. lol.
 
Actually, you should log out to clear any non-startup processes from memory and then exit any 'gpu apps' that you have set to startup.

That's good news I haven't tried them yet I guess this weekend I'll see..

This driver works really well for me no issues what so ever very happy thought I was stuck with 331.82 forever. Also did a little benching with my kpe vga's the first time since I've owned them. Wow is the best way to describe their performance these cards rocks..
 
 

What's the performance like on a 780 guys? I'm on the most current WHQL and everything is ok so wondering if it's worth downloading or is there not much of a performance increase?>

Worst drivers ever. Shame on who ever made them.

I've got about 12 hours of gaming logged on these drivers, and not a single crash or issue, and fps is up across the board. Definitely the best driver I have used in a LONG time.

Well I can name my main issue is by them self's They can not do SLI Surround Have you ever tried that with this super driver. I have and its a fail. Every single time.
 
And to the other statement  I mix drivers what of it . And sometimes I don't. I have a folder full of ALL the drivers 1min is all it takes to change drivers. I don't wonder why. I know why . The new one cant do it . If they could I would be sporting them now. Prove that they can do SLI Surround . Then I will eat my words and love it. If not fine stick with a single monitor play .And I will continue with my SLI Surround Gaming. like you see below here in my sig pic with my 3 40in 9 feet of game screen fun.:)

The "perfect" driver for a CPU limited I5 user like yourself running surround with SLI and 2gig 760's.
*as HH has pointed out, you appear to not understand Win8/Nvidia driver behavior when you "part out" Nvidia driver components between sets and branches...
It is highly likely -zero- updated drivers will ever work on your system, because of the non standard changes you have made.
 
Bad mouth what you know nothing about man go ahead My so called little computer beats most. I put it together my self and I don't have issues with it  works with out error all day long. I don't need to brag about what I got I just state my opinion. I beat better systems all the time but I don't bad mouth them . Because if I had those systems they beat better systems too. :) enjoy your drivers

This Nvidia driver contains new features to improve performance in CPU bound situations. That of course, is exactly what you have running surround.

As for knowing "nothing" about the subject, I am the Author of the Nvidia driver Guide here at the EVGA forums and have helped thousands of users with Nvidia driver issues
 
You appear to not understand that the "past" issues with surround concerning Win8/Nvidia drivers have been fixed, due to both Microsoft and Nvidia working on the problem.
 
You also do not appear to understand Nvidia driver component install/uninstall behavior, or you would realize that the only reason that 337.50 is not working correctly on your system, is because it cannot function properly under the conditions you have created on your system.
 
You are certainly not the first user to have broken their Nvidia driver install to the point where only a certain driver setup will work correctly.
As I stated in my post "it is highly likely -zero- updated drivers will ever work on your system, because of the non standard changes you have made".
Until you clear the problems in your config that are preventing the newer drivers from working-->they are simply not going to work.

--> except you cannot use the latest Nvidia drivers. That is a terrible problem.

See there you go again badmouthing me again. I did mean to hurt your feelings when I had a small criticism of the drivers . They Are the worst I have ever tried period. I guess you cant stand to see someone's opinion. What you only shot for the person and not the facts. Here in reality land I have a big setup with my video and the new BETA drivers can't do it.  So I say bad drivers shame on you.  And you just want to say things about me and how much I know. Well you don't know me. You should step back and think about that.
 
There are more that use other drivers too you know im not the only one that don't like them.

The 337.50 set is quite awesome indeed and is highly recommended!
 
The problems being reported here, are 100% user config error and should be completely disregarded

No error here! I configure exactly like NVidia explains in the SLI guide lines on the website . Exactly no error on my setup. I am well versed on SLI.
