NVIDIA has made available new versions of its Vulkan GeForce Graphics driver, namely 425.89 beta (for Windows) and 418.52.14 (for Linux), which adds new extensions and improves compatibility with recently released Linux kernels. As for the extensions, NVIDIA adds support for VK_EXT_full_screen_exclusive, VK_EXT_shader_demote_to_helper_invocation, and VK_EXT_texel_buffer_alignment lines, as well as for the VK_EXT_calibrated_timestamps command (but only for Linux).When it comes to the supported GPUs, this release is valid for certain models of NVIDIA’s Turing, Volta, Quadro, GeForce 1000, GeForce 900, GeForce 700, and GeForce 600 lineup, as well as for some Quadro Notebook and GeForce 900M, 800M, 700M, and 600M series graphics cards. https://drivers.softpedia.com/downloadTag/GeForce%20Vulkan%20425.89%20Beta

    Turing Extensions for Vulkan and OpenGL

    The first GPUs from the Turing architecture have arrived with lots of new features. Extensions have been added to both Vulkan and OpenGL to give developers access to these new features.

    I'll stick to 435.27.


     Just looked that one up, seems it's one of those drivers that Microsoft gets "exclusive" (well not really) rights to distribute to windows insiders
     
    I'm guessing we'll get a more intended for the general public version of it by the 9th for the 2060 and 2070 supers...
     
    the fact that Vulcan drivers seem a whole "10" behind other drivers after all, 435.27 is higher than 425.89, and bigger is better right.. because numbers and uh..yeah (please don't take this line to seriously btw)
     
    I miss the good old days of beta and WHQL (not that either were more stable than the other)
    now we have hotfix, game ready, vulcan, creator ready, extra stable professional drivers, and who knows what else

    This is really a good topic. NVIDIA is always a great graphics card brand we all know. I am using printer with my NVIDIA graphics card and it's working so smooth. I am really thankful to NVIDIA.

    You really only need the run the installer to unzip and copy the file VulkanRT-Installer.exe from the Display.Driver folder.
    Copy to a new location and install to test the Vulkan Drivers. I might give it a go but also need a Known App that uses it Vulkan.
    Guess I can run API Overhead feature test before and after and post back.
     
    No more standalone Installer. So out with the testing.
    Current Version 1.1.99 Beta Version 1.1.112
    Installed the Driver all but PhysX being and older version of 9.18.0907 and installed the standalone 9.19.0218 Version (Current)

    So you up 0.3% and dropping on the Graphics Driver 0.6%
    Drops under DX11 and up under DX12
