Well, I just updated and now it's not reading the audio card.  Reverted back to the previous version...nothing.  So now I am just doing the install...uninstall over and over, nothing.  Like the card is not there at all.

I give up, no matter what I do the computer is not reading the card.  It says in the audio setting NO DRIVER FOUND.

I doubt its the cable, because earlier I know that the software was working fine.  The issue only happened after I installed the new driver.  So I have no idea what the heck is going on...

BTW, could you pls add a lil info button somewhere on the app that informs us the approximate % in volume control for headphones in relation to the impedance.  My headphone is 30 ohms so I set it at 5%?.  Oh, and another thing, could you also have the audio automatically set the volume to like at least 20%.  Sometimes for some reason when I restart the computer the volume is seat at 100% but thank god my desktop volume control knob is at 30% otherwise I could've ended up blowing out my speakers or headphones.

This one had my Avast going "Hey, what is this? let me scan it!". Other than that, it`s installed and working. Nice.

Did you uninstall the old driver and software package and perform a reboot prior to installing this new version?

I think in the end I had to do 2 reboots between removal and install

Thanks! Works just fine for me! I've just one question: what is the "Safe Mode" (Advanced) and what does it mean if I deactivate it?

In the next driver version please add the possibility to change the BIOS-Update behaviour like you had in the first driver version.

    Best regards!

Thanks for the update, I love that EVGA and Audio Note UK are working together and that they are listening to user feedback. That being said, is there going to be a public facing feature request list?  May keep the repetitive requests and answers to those requests to a minimum.

    My two contributions:
The ability to monitor (passthrough) the input channels to the output channels without perceived delay
The ability to lower the microphone input gain. (Not sure if this is possible with current hardware, but I'm consistently peaking using the microphone on the Audio Technica ATH-AG1x)

Best regards and thanks for creating a discrete audio card for 2019.

Yeah I did that as well.  Then there are times after I installed it several times, it would say run time error i.e. mic output run time error.  After searching the audio forums, someone mentioned that they plug a sata cable directly to the power supply and it worked.  I think I will try that route and see if it works.  My current sata cable that is connected to the card is sharing with my hard drives, even though I don't think that is what causing it since it worked before the update.

Also, since this card is new and there isn't a lot of post, might as well put everything I noticed about the card after the issue so hopefully it can be resolve.  I noticed that every time I boot my computer, I hear like a "click" noise coming from the card.  Not sure if it was there before but yeah I just thought I'd share it.

This version finally fixed my issue where the NU software would crash while switching to the EQ section.

    Hello
We continue without the pass trougth so that external amplifiers connected by toslink can decode Dolby DTS and Dolby Digital.
I see a lot of movies on the pc and for me it is a vital feature.
Do you know when it will be available?

Here's what the manual says about it:
    NU Audio manual
    Q. When I turn on my system or change my Speaker mode I hear a clicking noise. Is something wrong with my NU Audio Card?
    A. The clicking noise is the OP-Amp turning on or off. This is completely normal.

Which is not quite right... the clicking noise comes from the relays, not the op-amps.

Alright, after searching in the forums regarding issues with this card.  Someone mentioned they they accidently disabled the SPDIF interface, going to try it later when I come home from work.

Well...I tried everything and nothing worked.  I am just going back to my previous external dac, glad I didn't sell it.  I just don't have the luxury spending time troubleshooting this issue, I am a busy person and I could be doing something else more productive than this.  It was fun having this card until the new update.  Plan is going to wait for the next update, and if that doesn't work I will just sell the NU card and go for something else.

Curious if anyone else is experiencing this:
The NU software's bit/sample format selection seems buggy. Most of the time, it sets only the sample rate and leaves the bit depth unchanged. For example, if I start with the card set to 192kHz 24-bit (verified in Windows Sound control panel), and then choose 384kHz 32-bit in the NU software, the card actually gets set to 384kHz 24-bit according to the Sound control panel.

ok found the issue... 1.2.7 drivers cause distortion and they do not recognise optical when uninstalled and reinstalled. using the 1.2.3 drivers fixed this.

Love the Mute function for Speakers/Headphones! It was my main gripe with this software since I had that feature with my Xonar STX.

Any way we can map shortcuts to those functions so I can assign a mute function for each of those and switch easily with a macro?

At this point, once this is done, I'll be a happy camper :D

After installing this update the software is no longer in system tray (Windows 10, 64bit). Please fix this. Even if I manually open it from the folder where it was installed it doesn't open.

Lee I'm not sure if it matters but it looked like the installer installed the software then the drivers - shouldn't it be drivers first then software package?

I had did a full removal of the software and driver package, rebooted then installed. Installation didn't seem to go as smooth as when I had first installed the card and used the 1.2.3 package
Took like 2 reboots, there was an error but then everything worked
