Hi there,
I think about upgrading my system, how/where would I mount the coolerfan,
I expect that inside the case there wont be enough place,
and I don't think it is clever to replace the default exhaust fan with this on is it?
Do you just break it out of the case ? And mount with a kind of bracket...

What about placing two cards for rendering (not gaming) inside,
do I need a bigger powerunit
currently 800W, with 2x8pin 2x6pin (currently running 780TI foundersedition)
thanks

What case are we talking about here?  Give us a list of your PC specs and some images if possible to better assist you.

Also, yes you could hang the rad in the rear as long as the case gets sufficient airflow but it's always best to position it in the front to get the coolest intake air.

yes,
its a fujitsu celsius M730 power, board D3128

a easy but notsosmart solution is to just hang the fans onto the opened case,
^^ oh you would say, crazy guy, but: my case is opened, I don't see any differences in temps. ;)

is using a hybrid card advised, or should I stick to traditional blower, or top mounted fans?

Ok so a prebuilt system it looks like.

Are you looking to add the hybrid on top of the two rendering GPUs or pick one or the other?  If you're looking to just upgrade in general, I'd stick with a air cooled RTX 2070 Super since the space will be really tight and don't think putting the rad in the back would be a great idea for this case design.  Some of these OEM cases are not so great and a bunch of proprietary mobojumbo nonsense in there making it difficult to upgrade sometimes.

I'd throw the actual cards out and replace them

depend on what you want and what is this case for.
if it is some kind of workstation - blower style is better.
if it is your desktop pc - blower is too loud, but with open air fan you need really good air ventilation in case. maybe you should change your case too.

1) Blower style

2) Hybrid & make a bracket to hold radiator - outside if your determined to keep that case.  You will need to protect the hoses where they could contact the case & you will need fan guards

The CPU heatsink funnels its heat to that rear fan on your case ... so hanging the hybrid there it not ideal as the air is already heated by the CPU

I'd sell your old cards 780 Ti ... someone might like to upgrade their PC
