Not sure if this been posted our not so just going to add it to this thread. http://uk.xbox360.ign.com...les/104/1044965p1.html
You can see what they want to do to Call of Duty Series. I still don't know who Activision listens to for these idea's.

Well that's the dlc at the very least, could end up having to pay a monthly fee too.

That would be the lean/ peek feature, very innovative.

real bad news.

IW is going overboard now. I feel failure coming their way and yes not in the short term and probably not as far as consoles are concerned, but PC gamers I beleive will eventually get fed up. As a debuting game MW2 has been a great success, but we'll see what happens to the next installment.

I guess, I'll start looking forward to Battlefield and Medal of Honor see where that takes me.

I thought PC gamers were already fed up, then release day hit and I found out just how fickle most of them were.

Beatinguts

There are few developers that can put together games of this quality. For every great game that comes along there are 20 worthless games. Sure, MW2's "full potential" was lost and some expectations were not meet, but its a great game by today's standards.

The point is they have talent and there is no reason to try and boycott or punish them. Why hurt the guys who produce the "1 in 20" powerhouse titles? Its childish and hurts the gaming community.

MW2 is a powerhouse title? By who's standards?
IW hurt the gaming community, not us.

Ive had NO issues with IWNET. Ive had NO lagged out games. Ive played all different game types, and had ZERO issues. My game dont crash. Yes, i BLOWS that IW changed things up on us, but im not one for sitting back n crying about it. I jumped in and played the game and made my opinion from there. Yup, i gave IW/Activion my money, and im not unhappy about that after playing the game.

well pretty much all of us boycotting knew this would be coming, once they went to IWNet that IW would charge PC players for maps.  Im glad i stuck with my boycotting and to the people who signed the petition and still bought it you just gave them more reason to charge for everything.

It makes real sense for them, why only get money once from us when they can bleed us with monthly payments.  After all most clans pay a monthly fee to rent their server, I can see IW sitting there wondering how they can get that money and get it for nothing.  So cut out the dedi servers and bring in a monthly charge and $$$ flows in.  They also get the whole dlc as well.

So anyone discussing what they like or dislike about a game is crying about it. Is that the best argument you can come up with. You can't say we don't have legitimate complaints about this game after see how much they restricted the PC version.

Just think how good this game could of been with the right support for the PC version.

That petition is not going anywhere in the middle earth. The game is doing fine with 6v6 or 9v9 because the maps designed to play 18 or 12 players. And IWnet is good in my opinions. I love the idea to put more players into the game too but what done is done. We cannot change it. But I miss mod maps very much :( They doing it and plan to sell map packs for sure.

So, I was never really into complaining too much about the whole dedicated server thing. But now i'm kind of mad, the new server setup sucks ass. I can never manage to get a good ping, i'm lagging like hell and getting my ass handed to me because I have a disadvantage to the temporary host. I think they should sell the game as an offline version only so I don't have to pay for the BS multi that just gave me.

the ps3 version is a laggy mess for 90% of the time, god knows what the pc version is doing....glad I didn't bother with the BS now., :D

and on a side note, the graphics on the single player PS3 are some of the worst I think I've seen for a rail shooter. utterly pathetic.

I have been loving the online for ps3 though when it's worked, absolutely dope...however the fact that my win/loss ratio is .45 because I refuse to play with the lag. worst still I'm starting to think that my best runs on it (27-1, 54-8 and 49-2) are more down to others loagging and not my level of skill. :(

This weekend I "borrowed " the game from the internet and i've been playing in single-player. I must admit the game is lovely. graphics are astonishing. If you say they are only cod4 polished, I say they are perfect. I mean, I can't ask for more.
The weapons are so cool. their sound is great, the recoil... everything.
It's such such such such such a pity the online gameplay is ruined. I could see this as the biggest addiction I'd ever have.
*sigh*

Is this the kind of experience IW wanted to give us with IWNet?

IW new system has already failed to keep hackers out, they can play the cracked version on IWNet system. I bet everyone that paid $60 is glad they gave you the option to votekick... oh wait they didn't think it was needed.

And to think not only a year ago we all were praising about how much we loved  IW for COD4 when Treyarch came out with COD:WAW. now WAW kicks butt and IW does crapp like this. im so looking forward to Treyarch's new release next year. they really have the opportunity to be the COD series on top and put IW behind us!

I wouldn't get your hopes up on Treyarch's new release next year, it was Activision who told IW not to support dedicated servers. Unless Activision see's the mistake they made i bet Treyarch version will have the same IWNet system.
