10 years is soon... where and since when?

My suggestion, follow all of the other x299 threads in this forums, and all of the intel cpu launch threads in the computer industry news section. They already have the most up to date info.

well, it is extremely hard to confirm this or deny it...
same like if this mother boards will be available in EU at this same time in US

had to go with asus x299 deluxe for now but if EVGA will not be available in EU at the same time that Rampage(apex and extreme will be released later) I will have to stick with asus

Don't know about your feelings but in my opinion EVGA just dont give a crap about European customers...
    I am very disappointed :(

Why you spend money on Deluxe, if you like Apex and Extreme.
Better wait little until situation with RAM and motheboards become clear.
There is big chance that Intel 18 core will work on Rampage 6 Extreme.
She not support Kaby Lake-X, but who care for i5 and Dual Channel on mobo with 8 DIMM slots.
Apex is great as well and she work with Kaby Lake-X.

I have few cpus in hand and i just want to test some stuff - how the performance is, how they clock, etc...

I dont care about 18 core as my current 6950x is overkill for me anyway so the 7900x is just fine

I will go for witch-ever becomes available first, Rampage or ftw-k. And I am really hoping for EVGA, especially as I would like to put my intel 750's in raid0.

The problem is my build isnt put together for a long time now and when I will install Rampage I will not change it to EVGA when it comes few days later. And EVGA does not give any infor about if and when...

EVGA is always incredibly vague about release dates and such. They may drop hints a few days ahead, but EU is typically 14 days behind US order dates, due to shipping times.

You have few of new Intel Skylake-Xtreme... WOW.
You are very lucky. I would kill for one i9-7900X.

You must be patient, 2014 RVE was available in August, but I think in October people start to enjoy in platform...
Motherboard get huge number of problems and very bad customer ratings only because they test only early batches of CPU and small number of memory kits. Later they start to update RAM QVL list and BIOS, every month 1-2 BIOS...
Now list is huge... this is list... and I keep very old BIOS...

I suggest wait information about Apex or Extreme.
Both are great on different ways... Extreme is like tank and look more as board for serious work with processor and huge ammount of memory.
Apex look as more gaming/overclocking board for fun. I would go on Extreme.

Left. That is my guess. Slightly different pattern on the pads and capacitors.

Don't give it away right away though. I am not pulling either of my cpu's to verify, lol.

Anyone knows the date when the nda lifts? I read some tech sites stated it'll be the 16th.

Not sure if it is today but Hexus already published a review but early against the NDA.

The more I read about the i9s the more I feel like they really really rushed and sacrificed performance for these things.  AMD was once a distant thought in my head, but now is more seemingly going to be my choice.  Maybe EVGA will work with AMD some day.

Monday is when the NDA lifts, 6/19.  Hexus being in the UK and Intel pretty much ignoring all of EU for marketing they "borrowed" a CPU and sent the review out early since they are not under NDA.

Still will wait till after launch to make my decision on x299, plus I'll need to sell off some of my x99 build to fund it.  Just hope that MicroCenters in Atlanta get the FTW-K and Micro when I decide to sell my CPU and return my board under replacement plan.

I am looking for new x299 gear to update. Is EVGA going to be late to the x299 party just like they did with the 1080ti's? Only two motherboards worth buying to me so far are evga dark or asus apex.

The dark and the apex are overclocking boards, what do you want with them on x299?
7900X is hitting the thermal barrier at 4 ghz on all cores, not even a 280mm rad on fullspeed can cool this. At this point it draws already 250 watt from the wall.
Seriously, is nobody in this forum reading news articles about x299?
The whole platform is still beta, the cpu's are not soldered anymore so the heat transfer is really really bad, the powerdraw is enormous.
I personally wouldn't even consider buying this crap, stay on what you have @valzero.

I really wanna give evga my money, almost everything else that can be is evga in my rig. But this total lack of communication is going to cause me to go with someone else. I've already seen many others say the same thing and are going with another manufacturer....I just don't want to...

don't see anything new atm. seems the CPUs are out now at least, and some of the other brands of x299 motherboards.
when will we see what EVGA has to offer? No telling, but they have been releasing motherboards behind other companies that release theirs on the CPU release dates.
Maybe EVGA is getting out of the motherboard market, and the ad removal was their way of saying "surprise!" :P
