Granted this is not a world class problem but it affects the appearance of my computer nonetheless. I have seen videos that show the ability to alter the display lighting of my GTX1080 (mine is the "SC" version). For some reason when I go to the Precision XOC program, the options to change the color display (RGB) are "greyed out." Am I doing something wrong or is this option no longer offered by EVGA? The card is great but the white lighting is rather bland and it would be great if I could get it to match my other hardware. Thanks a lot! MadMax75th

I've read in some reviews that the way to manipulate the LED's on a non RGB card are to use the Nvidia LED visualizer software... I don't think it is part of the GeForce Experience software anymore so you need to do a google search for it, I found link from a forum post on the Nvidia official forums... Hope this helps!

Ah yeah the LED Visualiser would only let you turn the lights off not change the colour as on the SC model they are static white...

fillip2k I've read in some reviews that the way to manipulate the LED's on a non RGB card are to use the Nvidia LED visualizer software..
That is incorrect. It is impossible to change the LED color using software if the LEDs are NON-RGB. ONLY RGB LEDs can have their color changed via software. For non-RGB LEDs, you may theoretically be able to turn them off and on or change their brightness (depending on software and hardware restrictions); nothing more than that.

As I said the card is non RGB I make no mention of changing the colour... In fact I am using the nvidia tool to change the modes of my LED on the FTW2 I just bought... The colour remains white but I am able to change the mode between breathing, flashing or off etc and the brightness of the LEDs....

You should be able to use the NVIDIA LED Visualizer to change the way the LEDs behave, but there would be no way to change the colors on a 1080 SC. Precision X is only able to change the colors; the other application will need to be used to change any dimming done. I apologize for the confusion.

I guess I assumed that you were answering the question. I didn't assume that you were answering what was not the question.

If you had read the post after you would see that I acknowledge that the colour can't be changed. Anyway, I won't be bothering with this forum seems people aren't particularly friendly...

Hi everyone, Not trying to hijack the thread but I'm having difficulty too. My new card is the Evga GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 White Edition. I read online that I could configure the LED's with GeForce Experience/My Rig but there is nothing there. I have all current drivers and the current version of GeForce Experience. I was told by the retailer that it was possible to configure the LED's. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

if you have a gtx 1080 you should be able to change the colors. I had to click on the Fan Curve icon to get my LED tab to show up, hope that helps
