Man, I feel ya. I managed to actually cop a Strix OC yesterday for $1999 tax and all, shipped. Still intending to get the Kingpin and then keep whichever seems to make the most sense. At $2300+ for the KPE, the Strix OC is seeming better and better. Glad I didnt miss my chance because it was only up for sale for 3 minutes.

In some way thats streetwise to not let us pay right away when we get on the notify list, so they can modifiy the price before we really buy them. I'm not talking for everyone but I would prefer a lowering of the price though...  I know... I know... I'll keep dreaming

Have to settle for a strix aswell, at bottom of list so probably be a month if they cannot get current list fulfilled next week, haha should not have sold the one i have to my cousin at Xmas ffs haha ah well EVGA has been awesome to us the day will come again!

Quite a *expletive* move if they do increase the price on those who are already in their queue following all the rules. Not our fault they haven't been able to produce enough cards/make cards good enough to lower the RMA amount (which in turn allows more cards to be sent to first time owners).

Even if you are a single dad with 3 kids (i am exactly that lol) and they let you get away with it, screw it. I ordered a 48" OLED LG and a Strix 3090 this week with my stimmy and some credit lmfao. It's all good, though. I'm giving my kids their full $600 each, I'm just doing it out of my tax refund in a few weeks. I got a feeling all the 48" OLEDs and ALL the GPUs are going to be sucked up with stimmy + tax return season and I didnt want to miss out. Those two together is some gaming nirvana.
Good luck out there lol. I honestly hope all of y'all get your Kingpins next week or whatever, but, i actually hope my name pops in more like 4 weeks when I will have enough to get it, too. I'm giving one son my 2080ti. If I can get the Kingpin I'll give the other one the Strix. Or sell it for a 3080 and re-coup a bit.
It REALLY sucks for regular folks to have that kind of money just chillin' on hold like this. A Kingpin still worth 1999+tax to me, but, having less than a day to react to a random "any week now" email is tough for a single dad like me.

Hi. I thought I would start an auto-notify confirmation list for the first drop of the K|NGP|N. If you post in this thread a screenshot of your auto-notify page (https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp) or just your date/time stamp for the card, I will add you to the list that I will keep updated on this original post.
Congratulations to everybody who received an auto-notify. Your K|NGP|N watch should come to an end shortly after December 15.

To anyone who can afford a $2000 GPU, a $50-$100 increase isn't going to affect them at all. If a $50-$100 price increase affects you, then you probably shouldn't be buying a $2k video card in the first place. This is a luxury item that no one "needs." I doubt it will make a big difference to the queue and it'll just make the scalpers cards go up in price as well so the "cost gap" will be the same.

They won't raise the price guys, that would just be in bad taste and they know it. They will probably increase the price and anyone who was already in queue before the price increase will still get the initial $1999 price.

The Kingpin cards are made in Taiwan, not China like the rest of EVGA's cards. The tariffs do not apply. Still, the little mom and pop assembly house in Taiwan might increase their prices due to demand for their services.
As to why the Kingpins are made in Taiwan, TiN dropped a hint in his 2080ti KPE technical guide: "Using tiny capacitors comes at the cost of higher price for assembly. Not every assembly house can mount hundreds of 0201 capacitors in a small area behind the GPU, and those who do – they will be sure to charge you pretty penny to do it."

The queue is current through ato1175. We are now an even 100 registrants on the self-reported queue. Per Jacob's tweet yesterday, it sounds like we are waiting until next week for the next K|NGP|N drop. I recognized the user name and had to look up your past posts to reflect my memory, but yeah, I remember. I hope things are better with your dad. If this potential price increase impacts you, that would just be a really bad result for all involved. Hopefully somebody from EVGA is lurking and trying to figure out a way to make it all work for people that signed up on the Elite Member queue for the KPEs before any price increase...we have been ready, willing and able to purchase these cards if only they had inventory.... I should hope not. I'm not paying any more than what was promised. A price raise is fine, in fact expected, but everyone who was in the queue before it deserves the price that EVGA stipulated. To change the price on us like that would be incredibly scummy, and I don't believe any of your customers who waited a long time in your queue would appreciate it. It takes a very long time to create a good reputation, but an exponentially shorter time to ruin it. I hope that EVGA does not go down this route.

Right seems boarderline bait and switch-y if they don't grandfather is in for the 1999 Price point. I know that if it is grandfathered in it will just make them more money cuz imma buy that an evga 590z when it drops and make a full evga build
