Cadillac94pimpin Nice work with the list! Sucks I keep getting pushed further back. . Anyone get 2 E-mail's from EVGA? I think I may have entered my info twice but it crashed once (The first time). I'm sure the first one was much sooner on the list but it shows the oldest in my notify queue. I guess I'm nitpicking at this point. I could always E-mail them I guess.
Same exact thing here.

The list should be updated with everybody who has submitted time stamps to this thread thus far. Best of luck this week and going forward. I wouldn't be surprised if EVGA holds the release of the first KPs until after US Thanksgiving. A lot of folks are --despite being urged not to -- travelling this week and it would likely be a tough call folks faced with the decision to order when you name gets pulled from the queue while knowing that you won't be in town for the delivery....

The holiday really shouldn’t be a factor in holding back graphics cards shipments. You can always authorize driver release through the UPS app if you aren’t going to be home. And also, the longer a company waits to ship something, the closer to full capacity the major small package delivery carriers will be as the official holiday shopping and shipping season starts. So waiting will only lead to longer transit times in the end, which I am absolutely positive that no one wants.

I could see them shipping these in batches of 25 if they start next week and there's only 100. No idea what they'll do with Thanksgiving because of the mostly US release but thankfully i'm around the halfway mark anyways

If we arent going to be doing extreme LN2 OC competitions like Jay and Steve did on Stream, what PSU is likely safe, i know a 1600 is "safe" but its also overkill realistically. 1000w PSU is probably the safe spot for some mid level OC on this i would imagine?

I would say you'd most likely be okay with 1,000-1,200 watts but I wouldn't go lower than that with a KPE. Gotta remember what some of these CPU's can pull when overclocked, as well as all peripherals/fans etc. It can add up quickly.

Yeah, i plan to keep my 1000w PSU with KPE for a bit, i don't plan to do much OC on it, i want to settle in and get used to its function and see if i need to OC it before i start to. Ill upgrade my PSU during next upgrade rotation, here's to hoping it goes according to plan lol

Yea man a solid 1000w should be safe. I'm planning to upgrade mine to a Titanium 1000w PSU. Right now I have a 850w gold EVGA which has coil whine under load with my 3090 FE

Yeah i had an 850w for my 3080, works great, but selling this one to my brother since i got on the KPE wait and upgraded to a Corsair RMx1000w 80+ Gold. All i could find in stock, and honestly, didn't want to wait on new cablemod cables just yet, ill just keep the OC on CPU to min and hold what i got for a while. Its the time of year though that if i see a sale, ill jump on a new PSU though lol

I upgraded my 1000W to a 1300W EVGA PSU in preparation for the KPE. I’m sure that I would have been technically safe with 1000W, but having the extra headroom gives me some peace of mind and will hopefully allow me to upgrade my 9900KS to a future more power hungry Intel CPU in a couple of years without having to buy another PSU. I’m currently running the 9900KS at 5.3 on all cores, so it pulls significant power by itself.
I agree that 1600W is overkill for a single KPE, particularly if you’re not doing extreme LN2 overclocking a la Steve and Jay style.

Wondering what people’s radiator setups are going to look like (assuming most will also have an AIO on their cpu)
I’m probably going to front mount my liquid freezer as intake for the CPU and top mount the kingpin radiator as exhaust

I was thinking the same for my setup. Was initially thinking of putting the GPU in front as intake but my case has poor front intake and with the heat from an OC KPE filling the case, I don't think that'd play well. So will try to put my Z73 Kraken up front as intake and KPE up top as exhaust

I am in a bit of a pickle myself. I have a Corsair 680x. The case is tall and wide but not deep at all. I have a 360MM AIO up front. I would have to switch to a 240 and put it up top for my CPU and put the KPE AIO on the front of the case. I would probably swap the fans out too. I know Jacob said the Hybrid 3080s could have the fans swapped and controlled via a fan controller. Could even do push pull if wanted. I thought about push pull on the KPE rad but I'm a few mm short on space if the rad thickness is 27mm like I think It is. Or I could just go with the flow like you guys and get an 011 XL. I just really did not want to tear it all down lol.

cfieber Wondering what people’s radiator setups are going to look like (assuming most will also have an AIO on their cpu)
I’m probably going to front mount my liquid freezer as intake for the CPU and top mount the kingpin radiator as exhaust
i have the Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL, i plan to keep my H150i CPU AIO up top as exhaust and back mounth the KPE AIO, waiting for my Vertical GPU Mount to come in for better airflow, and should be good. Ill have 3 QL120s for fresh intake at bottom as well, to help keep it all cool.
I just really did not want to tear it all down lol.
yeah, i actually bought the 680x when the Hybrid was announced just for it, then returned the package and got the Lian Li when i got on notify for KPE. lol saw that problem and didn't want to deal with switching a cooler

I skipped last gens KPE. With that said I have owned every other KPE, and the crowd that owned them did not use AIOs. If that is case now, then I guess there is a change in the market.

If any of you good people decide not to buy or jumped the gun and rather not install the card, please hit me up. I'll make it worth somebodies wild and throw in a 2080 KPE w WB for good measure. I missed out on rd1 and rd2 last go around. Please excuse this pathetic beg for card post.
