Should I get one? I mean: how can I swap from HC to hybrid? I can’t just throw away another grand on a custom loop, but it’s the next queue I can get in early.

I doubt we'll see an increase in Kingpin drop amounts because they're cherry picked dies that are tested and have to pass extra testing before being used.
 
Think about it this way, out of each wafer or sheet of GA102 dies, the lower end ones get put in to the 3080, the higher end ones that make the cut get put in to 3090s... and 1 out of every 10, or less, of the ones selected for eVGA 3090s gets tested and possibly made in to a Kingpin.
 
That smol supply will now be diluted in to Kingpin Hybrids as well as Kingpin HydroCoppers.  So if anything we can expect the frequency & amount of cards in drops to go down, not up.  Hate to be the debby downer/reality news giver, but that's most likely how things will go.
 
I do hope I'm wrong, people that legitimately want this card to enjoy it deserve to get one ASAP, they're amazing - but it is what it is, according to TSMC & Samsung, we're years away from production being able to get higher than it is right now... which means, sometime in the next 2 months, the frequency & amount of cards in drops is going to be the best it will be for at least the next 12-24 months - which will likely mean this sad sliver of supply we get is going to carry on in to the 40-series & maybe even the 50-series.
 
I for one agree with JayzTwoCents - NVidia is actually showing their complete lack of caring about their customers by releasing the 3080 Ti in the current market.  Especially since we all know darn well it's going to be a $1000-$1200 MSRP card with AIBs charging probably up in to the 1600 range for their high end units.  I wouldn't be surprised if that also results in the 3090s going up in price as well. Again.  As if people in this market aren't being hit by price hikes and unavailability enough as is.

FTW3 HC I was at 40s mark, KP HC block I was at 28s mark, hopefully I can shave off another 12-15s tomorrow...

XC3 hc is the only one i see with out a auto notify am i looking in the wrong place?

**** was that? Notify lasted all of 2 seconds? I was refreshing page, auto-notify button appeared, I clicked, entered my details, clicked to submit and got "oops something broke". Refreshed page, the auto-notify button was gone. Maximum 4 seconds. That is bs.
