I turned my 3080 ftw3 ultra into a hybrid. It is a rock solid card. Had it for 4 months now. I want a kingpin so I can rip my 3080 apart and start ****ing with it.

do you have an NVlink that fits? I bought the 4-slot from EVGA but it doesn't work fkor the spacing on my x570 master :(

You can use the A6000 2,3 or 4 slot NVLINKs with 3090s if you can find them

Got Kingpin today.... Installed it all good. Toggle to OC mode and I boot up the PC. Everything is excellent. I start Precision X1. Turn off antivirus and go Yes to firmware update.
And got a failed to update... and my computer crashes a few seconds later. Now it's a black screen so looks like I bricked the OC BIOS.
**** me sideways. At least it still works in Normal mode.

Oh good you should be able to flash it somehow, also seems most people prefer ln2 bios mode over oc.

Sorry to here that. That’s why I am weary of updating the firmware and the vbios. I have the Kingpin since the 13th of April and I did not update X1 (V 1.4.4.0) so that it will not update the firmware and the Vbios. So far it’s working fine.

Normally I wouldn't upgrade vbios unless I had a problem, but I needed to update to enable Resizable BAR mode../
