Weird place to ask: Does anyone know of anyone that has an NVLink bridge for the 3000-series cards I can seriously borrow for like a week? I'm seriously considering doing SLi tests just for the benchmark records whenever I receive my Kingpin. I would send it back to you unharmed in good packaging :-P I'll even pay for the shipping both ways if necessary lol I don't really wanna spend $90 on a bridge just to use it for a week or two before reselling the regular 3090 if I get the Kingpin. jspataro99
I have some of those extended screws from a Phanteks halo RGB fan frame I bought years back. I’ve used them to mount fans on the outside of my case into a radiator for push-pull in the past. They look like this.
And flat washers are absolutely your friend. Always have an assortment of those on hand. I feel like I’m constantly using them in various applications.
They're specially useful on my case because the gaps for 'screws' on the top/side brackets are just big enough that you could have a screw-head slip through, washers straight up prevent that from happening.

+1. They really don’t make screw heads big enough these days. Or maybe the screw holes are just getting bigger. They all must be in cahoots with the washer manufacturers. 🤔

Man, this is exciting! Not just having the opportunity to get a KP card (or any in general) but I can finally realize a dream AND check and item off my bucket list.
Back in the late 90's I met my best friends, now and then, in my highschool's programming class. They got me super into MUDs, didn't need a beefy GPU for those so I never paid mind to them. Years pass and they started playing Everquest and eventually WoW, graphics cards were suddenly a thing now.
One friend worked all summer long and bought a 9800 Pro, suffice it to say we were all jealous 😜. That GPU was handed down to me when he enlisted and couldn't play. I happily did it for him.
My first ever solo build was a Phenom X2(?) and EVGA GTX 460 SLI. Oh she was a beast, and the case!! It's removable side panel was one gigantic fan. /facepalm. I felt so cool with that setup 😅. Next and current rig is and i5-4690 paired with a EVGA GTX980. It was great when new but is showing its age. Unfortunately life and work kept me from upgrading, that and the insane GPU prices (ironic saying that in the KPE thread).
I've always wanted to build a "God Mode" pc since my mates and I played together and now I'm actually able to. Regardless if I get the card today or next month, I'm one step closer. 👍 Just wanted to share, ended up rambling 😊
...I really miss that fan case.

I hope you're right. I think the jury is still out.
I personally think it's a mix of both. People are getting impressive numbers out of those cards that are showing to be good performers from the Kingpins, the FTW3s are definitely less "stellar" compared to their previous-gen counterparts - GamersNexus/Buildzoid's PCB review basically said the FTW3 PCB isn't that different from other AIB partner model boards, normally the FTW3 is pretty advanced and the gaps between the Kingpin & FTW3 are typically "more" of the good stuff, and more access to settings... this time around, the Kingpin has "all" the good stuff, FTW3 has very little... Having said that, I'm still very impressed with what my card can do so far, but apparently it's a bit of an outlier, the majority of folks are not seeing the power draw limits or clocks that I've seen - I actually may have gotten a golden chip for once, which is going to make deciding between it & the Kingpin interesting, depending on how easily I can hit that sweet 2200MHz OC on the KP. Hoping I get lucky one more time & get a decent clocker on that as well, then this 3090 Hybrid can go to (hopefully) a good home :-P lol We'll see, I'm hoping we get a big drop of all Hybrid types tomorrow since none of any kind dropped today - Likely it'll be the case!

Agreed. I think tomorrow will be a day of Hybrids and the K|NGP|N (along with a straggler or two from today). Wednesday will likely be a straggler morning before EVGA shuts down for the year.
