So, I do have a Strix 3090 that has a slight coil whine. I see that the Hybrid Kingpin queue is moving where I should be getting a notify by end of september...Should I buy the Hybrid KP and sell the Strix? Do Kingpins have coil whine?

I think your decision is going to come down to which one will perform better.  The strix is a good card, but I would recommend doing more research on the good points of each card and then bench testing your Strix to see if performs well.  I would then compare that to around the medium of what other Kingpin owners are getting in bench testing to see how they compare.  Even if overclocking is not your thing, it would give you a measure to compare what your strix is capable of and then the expected performance of the kingpin.  If the strix is a strong performer then the decision gets tougher as is it worth it to you to attempt to buy another 3090 at around 2k to get rid of some coil whine?  
 
To me, I like EVGA's service and support.  That along with an option to buy their extended warranty and their very liberal rma service makes it a no brainer for me, but each person has their own perspectives and what is important to them.  It doesn't sound like price is something you are overly concerned about since you already have a 3090 and are looking to possibly buy another.  If you can sell your strix for around the cost of the Hybrid I'd go with the Kingpin since it is a limited item and has potential.  The Strix is a great card too, but I'm sold on EVGA products for their support. 
 
The other thing is that the strix card is air cooled while the kingpin is a 360mm aio hybrid.  You would need to make sure you have the space or flexibility in your system that would allow you to install the 360mm rad in your case in an orientation to support appropriate operation.  
 
In the end it does come down to what you prefer since it's your money.  Both are great gpus so you can't go wrong with either but what you should do is look at the small details that are important to you.  Those will point you to whether you should keep the strix or go with the Kingpin.

I called and they said there was nothing they could do. So before i email Jacob im trying to send it to my brothers address if possible.

Best of luck...that seems pretty raw that they wouldn't figure out a way to make that work.
