I know this is the Kingpin thread, but for those of you who are on both the Kingpin and Hybrid 3090 FTW3 Ultra queues (I know there are a few of us like that in here), I just received my 3090 Hybrid purchase email. I will likely pass on this one since I am now in line for the Kingpin, but just FYI!

I have faith that EVGA has figured out the auto-notify/queue system for the hybrids and Kingpins:
     - Open it up for only enough time to get fill the inventory you know is coming in the next month or so (and maybe a few alternates for stragglers when one or two folks ultimately pass...maybe not for the Kingpins). 
     - And then reopen just before you fulfill the last tranche of the current queue.  I firmly believe that everybody on the Kingpin queue will get an invite to purchase email in December.
 
It is the holiday season...let's believe in miracles!

Is there a XOC Bios for the KP Edition? 
 
Have to say, not very happy with the KP at all. It doesn't overclock as high as the FTW3 Ultras I have here running on air.
 
Am I missing something? The hardware revised. I think I'm using the most recent X1. I reinstalled Nvidia drivers (clean install).

For some reason it was holding it at 430 Watts Max. stripping drivers two times in a row. and installing fresh worked. Also note Precision X1 will sometimes show the lower bios power limit when switching from one bios to another just reboot another time and it should update.

I RMA’d my 3090 FTW3 Ultra for a refund after becoming a victim of the famous Red Light of Death and seeing other peoples’ replacement cards also failing in the forums. So I’ve been without a card now since 11/11/20. I had sold my 2080ti Ultra Hybrid after installing the new card, then when it died after only a few days, I was left without a GPU (except for integrated graphics). What’s a couple of more weeks at this point.

This scares me to death lol. Waiting for my KPE purchase email to come through as well. I held on to my FTW3 Ultra 2080 Ti just in case i have any issues. Probably give it a solid week of running the KPE before i let the 2080 Ti go. I have decided if i do have any issues that result in a RMA i'm just going to ask for the refund and keep the 2080 Ti till at least middle of next year to see if things iron out or ill just wait for next Gen cards.

This is exactly my plan as well. I still have my 2080Ti and I'm actually not even sure I'm going to let it go. It has 10 years of warranty . May build another PC or build one for my brother. I have faith in this KPE card/PCB.
