Turns out I am a conspiracy theorist.  
 

If I am a conspiracy theorist, EVGA likely waited until just after 2 pm so that the cards wouldn't have to ship until Monday and folks could go home for the long weekend.

I actually got my auto notify today, but when I try to complete checkout it says the card is being auto removed from my cart due to it being out of stock... I didn't they would send out more emails than they had stock for?

Call them now.

Mine shows as shipped pending UPS pickup so.

Once the tracking number shows up, you know it's on the way. Mine sat there for a day & a half pending, but that was when a really big bunch of 3090 FTW3 Ultras went out so I wasn't surprised.

I asked once if I could just drive to Brea to pick up my order, got a big fat NO on that one.  Maybe they'll reverse that and offer white glove service for the KPE orders.

If you don't ask, the answer is always no. Worth a try.


 
 

I buy a lot of camera gear as a hobbyist. Anyone into photography knows, pro glass is expensive.  At 2k the kpe is similar in cost to a piece of pro glass. I've never had to pay shipping on a 2k purchase small mom and pop shop to something like BHphoto, almost 100% of the time it gets overnighted as part of the purchase for free (given the cost of the item). So yeah i don't think you are gonna be able to pick up, if they wont even ship it for free.

It seems to be broken. When I try to checkout I get "automatically removed from your shopping cart due to insufficient stock."
I've emailed ordernotify and webmaster and I @'d EVGA_JacobF on Twitter. I'm sure they'll get it sorted out. 
For reference I was 12th on the list last time I looked.

I got my email, but same thing. Said it was removed from my cart. I called and they said they were having an issue with the system and to expect a new link as early as this evening.

Seems 39 second mark is the magical cut off.

I received this error as well. I just got off the phone with EVGA support and was told they will be sending out a new notification e-mail either later this evening or late Sunday. I was told we will not be affected by the 8 hour wait on the initial e-mail. So I guess we'll wait and see...
