Is that max temp with the stock 360mm aio? That's decent. Change the thermal paste to liquid metal? Did you post voltage because you changed it or is that what it's doing stock? Also does one of the three bios options already have the 520w bios installed?

Anyone able to confirm, 100%, if this cards rad will fit in the 011D XL's front/side position tubes down? Hard to get measurements but that's my plan and if I get it and it's tube length is too short I'm gonna have to thinking to do about how I'm going to fit it

I have the O11D XL and I'm waiting to buy the Hybrid as well. But out of curiosity, why not install the rad at the top? That is what I'm planning to do with the Corsair rad tubes up on the front/side.

Cause if I do KP front/side tubes down and CPU AIO top then it's ideal for placement. Second best placement would be KP up top and as you said CPU rad front/side tubes up but there's potential for air in the top of the rad. In my ideal config, air rises to the top of the front/side as far from the hoses as possible and with the CPU AIO there's no chance it gets sucked down. Plus this config has the benefit of dodging the gurgling noises it could one day make. Maybe I'm over thinking it but I have time as my number has not yet been called so using this time to plan as many aspects as possible.

Yes. I helped a buddy install it as a push-pull in a 011 XL tubes down. The pull fans were behind the shroud. The rad and the pull fans were in front of the shroud. It was tight, but totally workable and he's been running it just fine since November (he was in the first KPE drop).

Tight meaning the tube was a bit stretched?

No, we wouldn't have used that position it we felt they were stretched. Just that there was no a lot of sag to the tubes. Also the tubes exciting the top of the card do rest on the side glass but, again, nothing that we were concerned about. No forcing of anything. It all worked and is working. I assume you are looking to do the front rad location because you have the CPU AIO on the roof?

Actually, that's what Toieo wants to do. My plan is to install the KingPin rad at the top and the CPU AIO on the side. I currently have the 3090 Hybrid and that's how it is installed. Sorry for high jacking this topic from Toieo

I realized I had conflated the two comments after I posted, but didn't want to risk the approval pending with an edit. I think both work. My buddy has his CPU AIO on the roof. It is a Kracken and he was concerned that he couldn't do it tubes down on the front due to the Kingpin's size. He had already installed the Kracken before I showed up to help him install it. We did it outside, masked, etc...we had essentially formed the same pod since the summer...but, yeah, crazy days that we had to put a computer together under an umbrella in his courtyard. Crazy days.

Yep, crazy days indeed. Yes, I agree both will work. I just followed the recommended installation position of the GPU rad in the EVGA manual.

good to know lol, wasn't signed up for the kingpin but the ftw3 hybrid so only a 240mm rad instead of the 360, so at least know it works, though I was thinking of getting a riser and doing a vertical mount on the card so don't have to worry about the hoses against the glass. (also have the 011D-xl case).. waiting until I get the notify before finalizing that decision though. Also have a kraken z73 that i'll be top mounting lol.. seems to be a popular config though :) that particular case and aio

not 100% sure, figure I'll make a final decision when I get my notification, but I was looking at the 4.0 ones from Linkup, ya, they're expensive but they were one of the first to make a functioning one for pcie 4.0 that works with the 3k series of cards.

Those of you looking for beefy vertical mounts, Bitspower makes the only machined one out there. EK makes the most stable stamped aluminum one with supports from the motherboard standoffs. On another note - I know it's not a Kingpin, but while I wait for the next drop, I'm gonna at least see how the FTW3 does with this. EKWB FTW3 Vector Block and Backplate alongside a Bitspower HDD block. Actively cooled backplate, anyone? Lol.

From what I remember hearing from Steve over at GN recently, actually the Lunar New Year shutdown can run from a week to a month, depending on location. I think he said Taiwan was about a week, but in China it can run up to a month, because ppl go back home to their provinces, and only historically only a certain percentage of them return to back work afterwards, which then can cause more delays I'd have to think due to training and such. Not to be a negative Nancy, but kind of like the saying back in the day about Detroit made cars that were built on a Mon or Fri, I'd ideally try to avoid products from China made around that time frame, though hopefully QA would catch the duds. Not that we have much choice in the matter now due to the crunch of availability of course.
