Toieo Hopefully a container ship pulled into port with a pallet and we get 100 cards and we can get the entire queue satisfied... headin back to my wishful thinking corner now
That would be amazing. I guess EVGA puts bab...er...Toieo in the corner. (Apologies to Dirty Dancing.)

So I take it you have not received an e-mail from EVGA? Check your e-mail!

Yes. It will likely be a bit before the next "new" drop.

I’m trying load a picture here of my setup. Barely fits but I love it. I haven’t tried the oc setting , because I’m little worried that my 850 watts power supply would strain. Would you guys recommend me to upgrade ?

The card could draw 520 Watts maximum, if you are using an intel CPU and OC to 5.0GHz,that's 200 to 300 Watts, So in such case, I would recommend you to upgrade because running PSU at near full load in long term will accelerate PSU internal components aging. Aging will have negative impact on the total power output, voltage ripple performance, voltage accuracy. Most system coponents are not sensitive to these parameters. But the most sensitive components in your system is your hard drive, that is the least you want to lose.

I’m using Amd 3950x which I’m not overclocking.

Just an FYI folks, I've seen north of 520W of draw on the stock-LN2 BIOS that has a 520W limit. Saw it peak as high as 535W on the OLED display - which I think is more accurate that HWInfo or GPUz because those only poll once per second and don't pick up spikes. That was with some minor bumps in voltage through Classified Tool & with a pretty hefty OC though. After seeing that the 1000W BIOS apparently sticks your vRAM running at full speed, I don't think I'll be trying that despite it being out there in the wild where you don't have to ask for it & thusly void your warranty just to give it a try. I can say the load balancing of power on these cards is MUCH better than the 3090 FTW3 Hybrid. Maximum draw I've seen from the PCIe slot hasn't even hit 75W yet, some of the 8 pins went slightly over spec during that 535W run, but nothing dangerous (5-10W) considering Vince has ran Kingpins drawing almost 900W EACH and didn't fry an 8-pin. Good luck on the drops today everyone! Edit: Oh, and the stock fans on the radiator are G_A_R_B_A_G_E - gaps on the fan blades are huge, they're way too loud at maximum RPM despite only spinning up to like 2200 - I swapped to EK Vardars today, we shall see how that effects temps, should be nice though.

I am also planning to replace the stock fans. Do you know what is the max allowed current. I know motherboard fan header usually have 1A limit. But brute fans single one can draw up to 1.2A, like gentle typhoon GT5400.

Well they're 4-pin PWM fans, you can always do a fan-splitter & run the PWM signal to the GPU's plug in while powering the fans directly off the PSU, I suggested something similar in another thread just now & linked to the splitters I have: https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3210621

alexaqui I am getting close and there are no power supplies at MSRP right now. Have a 3080 I just unboxed from last week and have yet to run it. LOL. I never thought it would be harder to get a PSU than a GPU over the last few months... May be a pass for me at this stage still! I've noticed that PSU prices (especially the high end ones) have really skyrocketed in the last couple years, probably to make up for the beating they took right after crypto boom a couple years ago due to overproduction towards the end of it. I can remember getting one email from EVGA around then about the great deals they were having on PSU's, etc, so I hopped over and checked them out, and if I remember correctly, they had listed the SuperNOVA T2 TITANIUM 1600W, for under $300. I was tempted to pick up a two or three, because I knew that that was a dang good price, but as I already have a couple, and had been hearing for YEARS about how there would NEVER EVER be a need for higher power PSU's, because everything is going lower and lower power, CPU's, GPU's, etc., that they would basically become dinosaurs. So... I passed on them. Not really kicking myself over it, but seeing as the price has basically doubled for the exact same product... Oh well, same could be said about seeing what's happening to Gamestops stock too, $3.80 a year ago to $140 recently? Seriously?

The 25% tariffs are what drove the prices up, that abs the pandemic

Let's also not forget the huge role Bitcoin and its sister currencies are playing in driving up the prices and availability of components like psus. The same thing happened the first go around when Bitcoin hit $20K in market value. Now that it's made a comeback from its steep drop from there the first time around and is now fluctuating between $30K and $40K, combined with the reasons already stated, expect prices to stay high and availability to remain low. Myself, I'm not so sure tariffs played that much of a role simply because I watched companies like EVGA lower their prices on PSUs as much as 50% from where they are now (e.g., US $249 for a 1600 T2) since the time the tariffs went into play and I even bought a half dozen of the higher power Titanium EVGA and Seasonic PSUS during those sales. The sales themselves were the result of overstock that was left after the first round of the mining craze died down.
While you can beat a dead horse as much as you like, you might have a tough time arguing with one.

None yet. And I doubt we will see the KPE drop again this week. Yesterday felt like the last gasp of the straggler drops from last week's sizable storm. Hopefully EVGA refills their warehouse soon.
