Is it just me or is the key layout offset or compressed somehow. I find my pinky finger where would normally be on the A key, now hits the CAPPS LOCK all the time. I am coming from a random rosewill mechanical keyboard but not like I had an issue going from using cheapo IBM one at work and my prev home keyboard. Was wondering if anyone else noticed. I was going to take my old to work, but if cant get used to the EVGA fairly quickly will just resell.

Thanks

i think i have figured it out, the spacebar seems tiny? Googling if right, seems most spacebars go out to part of X key?

As for the keyboard the layout to me has been about normal but the E Keys might be throwing  you off a little bit by having those micro keys. In fact since the keyboard uses standard switches and normal keycaps it would be about like any other mechanical keyboard. For the display I don't really use it on mine but figure that it might be worth downloading the software bundle for it and trying to flash the bios with the file included. I recommend 0.72 instead of the 0.73 file. It should be in the EVGA unleashed software folder under EVGA_FWUPDATE.

I had this as a thread after getting keyboard. EVGA SUCKS with support for it. I wouldnt have made a post about the awfulness. Layout is easy to change, the keyboard sucking is a different story.

My pinky does the same thing till I got used to it. Figure it was just me probably cause im a tall person with big hands and feet and have issue with all kinds of things cause of them.... blessings in others.   I was using a really old IBM M kb for quite awhile so I was very used to that setup which im sure contributed.

I use only this Z10 KB now and yes it takes time to learn it but once you do you will like it.
Yes myself I do not use the E1-E5 and would be nice to cap off.
I am still getting used to the Z10 but I do like it even after a year of use.
But we also bought this Keyboard knowing the layout so your post seems a bit off.
Also there are Posts and Threads that tell you how to fix the flickering.

Lol, I have a Dell and a Gateway multimedia kb from the 90's somewhere too. I know one of them is from 98 not sure which though. I still have the tower that goes with the IBM kb too I think.  Yes, my family hates me!!

I posted on my original because didnt want to clutter up the forums with a new thread. There are numerous little issues that are adding up to the thing being a pile.

Originally was just layout issue thread was for.
Then display needing 3rd party software to fully utilize
Then it needing to be randomly reconnected in USB ports to even be alive, randomly becomes dead(since you like to mention posts and threads, those are here about it with my EVGA mobo)
    Then the random flickering

Alone, none would be that big a deal. Together make the thing a pile.

I have to do this sometime as well but no big deal to unplug the USB Cable and Plug it back in.
But I really only have to do this sometimes with AIDA64 Extreme.
Yes EVGA needs to update the Software to support Windows 10 1809 and PXOC & PX1 but my workaround is using AIDA64 Extreme and it provide what I want to be displayed.
I am not seeing a Single Thread from you with needing help with your Z10 Keyboard.

I tried to edit the post as little as possible but it did have an F bomb in the last sentence that needed to be removed. I wasn't in anyway trying to edit feedback about the keyboard as that is yours to give.

I would agree that the software could use a update as it doesn't really work with PXOC and PX1 like it should and it would be able to make some adjustments to things like how it displays the date and time. Overall though the keyboard has a nice feel to it and I like it. I think it would be more letdown by the screen though if it wasn't that it used to have a Logitech G15 keyboard and realized that the screen is already something I don't really care for going in. Also I wish they had kept the rolling wheel for the brightness and the volume with a mute button also. I feel it's a great first product though for EVGA with a few things that they could do to make an amazing V2 by adding RGB and the fixes above.

Good God I hate this keyboard more each day, only now because volume goes down randomly to mute level. Changing on my headset up or down makes no difference, but if i use the goofy slider on keyboard(that would be in max position, so toggle down then up) gets it un-muted.

When I get annoyed enough, Ill be getting a less awful keyboard.
