We kindly request you not spam this post.
we kindly request you do pre orders/back orders. The consumer process would be more enjoyable if we could just claim a spot in line, then while we wait you can scrub the line for bots. EVGA tweets that they are reviewing orders for bots. This is basically like a Trump tweet, they are just saying what we want to hear with no accountability. I wouldn't be surprised if they spent more time writing that tweet than actually removing bot orders. If they are removing bot orders, its not like they are giving those orders to loyal EVGA customers, theres a good chance that same order is going to just go to another bot once restocked making an endless loop of wasted time cancelling bot orders. why not allow a pre order/back order? tell the customer their place in line, after you actually remove bot orders tell the customer "you were X spot in line. We remove X bot orders and you are now X spot in line." this would make people happier than an empty tweet with no accountability.

Meh, I've already wasted hours on this three different days. It was hard enough getting a 10900k. I'll probably just wait a couple more days then buy one off a ebay scalper. This isn't worth the pain. I guess at least EVGA tried to help us. I've never bought a non EVGA card but I'm getting desperate so I guess who knows.

can someone from evga please reprocess this order? I did everything correctly. Its not my fault your website is recognized as fraud.
Has anyone else been as excited about and talking as highly about the 3090? I told them i recognize the charge. Can you process this order?
Did you put a spending limit on your card? Or withhold any charges over a certain amount? I've done that before and got denied. I had to call my card issuer to allow like a 1 or 2 hour window where I could spend over that limit to avoid it being declined. (I voluntarily set that limit myself long time ago and forgot, but your card issuer my have an automatic one based on your spending history)
no limits. $41k open balance. I've had this issue with Evga before if legit the only website that declines with Chase CC. I legit purchased over $4k backyard furniture on wayfair recently without issue. Yeah, I have an ultra in my cart right now. keep getting kicked back to "enter your credit card info". It's like an endless loop. Paypal's a complete bust too. That just straight errors out.

I was able to get a 3090 FTW3 Ultra in the cart, then crash, then get to payment, then crash, then crash, then accept terms, crash, place order, crash, charge to card, go back and, place order, place order... you get it until finally order accepted!
Thank you to EVGA for giving us Elite members an hr head start! and thank you to the sales tech I spoke to in questioning the extra charges to card.

Please understand NVIDIA strictly stated no pre orders/back orders. We are removing any order that looks suspicious and added captcha at check out after reviewing the amount of information and feedback. We used the Elite system to try and combat what you are describing. EVGA is stuck between a rock and hard place, demand is high, traffic is high, we are trying to be as transparent as possible.
The elite member only stock/checkout was definitely a huge benefit. If you plan on doing this way again, maybe make the public stock available later (1 hour?), so the public isn't hammering the site at the same time as elite members are. Also, making a post about it saying "Elite will launch at x:xx and non elite will be z:zz" would help. Less competing traffic the better. However, don't know about the legality of that between your contract with Nvidia and how you are allowed to sell direct.

I couldn't even get the page to load from the bot DDOS. When it comes to securing EVGA cards the BOT club is way more helpful than the EVGA ELITE club.
