I was on the product page 5 minutes before it was up. I refreshed before 6:00am PDT and when I clicked the XC3 auto-notify button it gave an error. Feels scammed, they probably didn't have any for sale so everyone would get the FTW3, which still has the auto-notify up after almost an hour.

How disheartening. I got the notify box 4 times, 1 was a early as 7 minutes after the hour and all 4 times it errored. Now the auto-notify button is gone.

Try this. Open in multiple tabs. using the Auto notify link you get when it errors out. Should look something like: /products/autoNotify.aspx?pn=08G-P5-3797-KL

Yeah I was expecting $699 for this card. Better than ASUS though, charging $999 for their 3070 Ti...
ASUS price is mind-boggling! 3070 Ti for 1k!?!?!?

I don't want to B&C too much, but the Elite via forum posts was a bad idea. It's not going to significantly alter forum engagement long term, other then to make older member pissed off enough that some of them leave.
Agreed. They had to know their system buckles easily under load. This isn't their first product launch so they are well aware of their capabilities and expected demand at this point. Letting in Elite via forum posts was a bad idea given they clearly already have enough members with a proven history of forum activity or those, like me, who spent time digging out my boxes for a serial numbers to prove I actually own EVGA hardware. That should carry more weight in my opinion. I'm sure there were those within EVGA who probably shared this view but were outranked by the lure of a flood of new registrations, sadly.

Yea, I managed to load the xc3 model page 5 seconds after it went live, by refreshing just before 0600PT, and a couple times since, there never was a notify button.
Finally got through on a ftw3 @0648, but I'm not sure if I'll even bother at that price, or of it's likely I'll get one for months anyways.

that's ASUS for ya. I'm switching from ASUS to EVGA. ASUS' graphic cards are not worth all the hype. I've had two and one had to RMA and received a rebuilt in return. (which stunk since the one I sent in was brand new). And the one I'm using now has issues.

i had xc3 auto-notify button right when it went live. I clicked it, it errored out then was never seen again =(. I got in for the ftw3 but it seems like a luke-warm deal at best.

I kept getting the box to pop up, fill out but when I submitted, it would error out...Did that 3 times, all times it crashed, but when I checked my email, one actually went thought!!! I got it a little over a min after launch for a 7080ti FTW
Check your email folks....Some have gotten a email from EVGA even when it errored out on ya...
Pro Tip: Having a Fiber, 10G connection helps quite a bit!!!
