I've been trying to get a GPU for a VR rig we're building at work, but after the last two weeks I've lost confidence in the EVGA queue.  A total of almost four hours spent and I couldn't even get on the notify list for either card.  I guess it's NewEgg Shuffle or bust going forward.

Screw that.  I wish we could get a decent Mini PC with nvme 4.0.  Buy that in the size of a Librem Mini with one of those GPU nvme adapters plus enough power for a 3080 with a 3D printed enclosure you've got a nice portable VR rig. without Facebook and a nice PC for gaming on the go long as you have a portable screen or HMD.  Why we have to tolerate a screen tethered a device for any powered portability I don't see the point.

I got my queue when i was half sleep, look when it again I was awake and saw the price... 800$ for 3070ti frack that even i get notified i would never pay that, i sure it will sell like hot cakes none less make card even more expensive.

And people wonder why card getting more expensive,  and i not talking about current mining and chip shortage issue make thing worse

Emails started going out approx 5-6 hours after the queue signup window opened.

You think that’s expensive, see how much other companies are selling 3070ti’s for. Makes EVGA Look pretty good, unless of course your wanting a Founders Edition from Best Buy. But good luck at that. waiting to get one from Best Buy is a loosing battle against bots who snatch them up in milliseconds. At least with EVGA you can buy a card via the queue

EVGA Z-590 FTW, EVGA RTX 3080ti FTW3 Ultra  Core i9 11900K, 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 4000MHz, EVGA DG-86 Case, EVGA SuperNOVA 850G3 ,Corsair 420mm H170i Elite LCD AIO, 1TB WD SN850 NVME,  2TB WD SN750 NVME, 1TB Samsung 860 EVO SSD, 1.5TB WD Black HDD, Logitech Z5500 5.1 THX, Logitech G910 Keyboard, Corsair Dark Core Pro Mouse, Acer X34P G-SYNC 3440X1440 Curved Display @ 120Hz, Windows 10 Pro

Was there even one person who was able to get in line for XC3?
I wasted so much time, in the beginning, trying to get in on XC3....I should have just gone for the FTW in the beginning.

So 7 min before launch 1070 ti page was shown but no auto-notify button
right at launch, button XC3 and FTW3 had auto-notify button
XC3 button opened layer window with error
Full product page went 404 error then went to full capacity error
Wasted so much time trying to get XC3...I should have gone for FTW3 when everyone was trying to get XC3.

A lot of haters but I am just thankful EVGA is even taking time to do this.

Um....1080ti is moving about a mininute a day. I am sure a lot more people got in the list for 1070ti.

So 6:00 AM launch....you are at 44 min in so hopefully you will get it in 44 business days.

For today's 3070ti. I thought I saw the XC3 model notify button up for a second right around 6:00 then everything crashed for a while. Did anyone else see that? Did anyone get in queue for the XC3? I haven't seen the XC3 button since. Or am I just imagining the XC3 button?

So, if you do not get a $599 3070 Ti, or if you did not get an $1199 3080 Ti you are pretty much out of luck at getting one near the Nvidia MSRP. It seems like the game is to release a stock version of the cards at MSRP in very low supply. I guess that is to satisfy some stipulation with Nvidia. That's my guess. But, all the AIBs have OC versions of those same cards at greatly inflated prices. They are literally the same card with small factory overclock in the bios and instead of being $599, they're $899 or $949. Honestly, they make the FTW3 at $799 look like a deal. There is an MSI Ventus 3070 Ti with a factory 1800mhz boost clock listed on Newegg for $929! Over at Best Buy a coming soon ASUS TUF with a 1785 Boost Clock is listed for $949. These are not even premiums, they are just overclocked versions that typically sell at $30-$50 over MSRP. But the MSRP cards will hardly if ever show up. Because why sell a card that cost you literally the exact same amount to produce at MSRP when you boost it 30-45mhz and wa-la, its now selling for over $300 more.

At least with EVGA, at the moment, you are getting FTW3 premium cards and the mark up is lower than other AIBs. It's definitely not a good time to buy a GPU for the consumer, but I do appreciate EVGA at least pushing you to the premium cards for more profit rather that just releasing an XC3 and inflating the price an outrageous amount.

I know this is the choir but EVGA really is MVP here. Making this queue system means we all have a chance of getting cards during this GPUpocalypse and on top of that their cards are cheaper than the other AIB's. And their customer service/RMA is excellent. It's the trifecta.
