Well the 1660ti price on EVGA's website ranges from 299-379 USD.
https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=06G-P4-1267-KR
https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=06G-P4-1667-KR
https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=06G-P4-1265-KR

I predict that this card will be priced at $349 USD despite the $249 MSRP set by Nvidia.  It may even be priced at higher than the 1660ti since technically it is better.  So it might even be set at $399 USD. At that price, it will cost me ~$515 CAD ($349 USD) or ~580 ($399 USD) when you factor in taxes and duty to obtain the card in Canada. It costs ~580 to buy an Intel 12700k here.  I'm having a hard time justifying paying that much for a card that performs similarly to a 1660ti since you could have bought a 1660ti in Canada back at the beginning of 2020 for $384CAD (taxes in).

Yeah, the overlap between 1660 Ti pricing and 3050 pricing is plausible in this crazy times. But it should still fall below the lowest RTX 3060 (EVGA) pricing of $430 (it used to be $399). The perf gap between 3060 and 3050 would be rather significant.

Well with your Amphibian Intuition do you think it's going to be a 6 am PST open queue ?  This is the first time I'm going to try to enter a queue, I am an Elite Member.

Awesome Thanks,  One more question sorry, from what I read the queue will be open 24hrs to Elite Members,  Does that mean I can log on anytime on the 27th or will the queue close after an hour like previous? I know this is just speculation as this is the second time queue 3.0 will be open?

If I do get in the queue ill make sure to use your associate code! Thanks again.

3050 GPU review leaked:

It looks to be around 30% slower than the 3060 or a smidgen faster than the 1660 ti.

Nvidia GPU's work slightly better than what's shows on reviews, so even with this am very pleased with this card and will do great job for its money!!! I can't wait to put my hands on it...

Numbers all look pretty good for 1080p gaming and a lot of them are good enough for 1440p gaming.

Well the 1660ti price on EVGA's website ranges from 299-379 USD.

I predict that this card will be priced at $349 USD despite the $249 MSRP set by Nvidia.  It may even be priced at higher than the 1660ti since technically it is better.  So it might even be set at $399 USD. It costs ~580 to buy an Intel 12700k here.  I'm having a hard time justifying paying that much for a card that performs similarly to a 1660ti since you could have bought a 1660ti in Canada back at the beginning of 2020 for $384CAD (taxes in).

The market is completely bonkers.

This seems about right, there was a RTX-3050 thrown up on Japanese Amazon for roughly $400 USD. This is extremely worrying given that if you can get a RTX-3060 near it's MSRP then the RTX-3050 seems like a scam in comparison.

The GTX-1050 TI is extremely underrated, and no one can tell me otherwise.

Don't get your hopes up, chances are it'll be over a year before the vast majority of us get our hands on the 3050. Especially since EVGA changed its queue system to be indirectly biased towards Scalpers who own pallets of cards (which then give them an insanely high "user-score", thus boosting them super high up on the queue list), the rest of us just have to pray that we get sent the magic link to buy one of the darn things at some point.

Directly from EVGA through the Queue system.  Otherwise, perhaps at Canada Computers, Memory Express, etc starting on Jan 27 (tomorrow).  But we don't know for sure where it would be available locally.

Your best bet is Newegg or Bestbuy. Starting tomorrow you can find them if they drop something. And if this happens, I believe they will be available only for a few seconds until you see out of stock.
Memory Express is only taking in store orders.
Canada Computers might drop something as well, but you have to be lucky to have stock available at the store near you. You will be able to place your order online but you have to get and pay for the card in store.
