Do we expect Hybrid, Hydro and all editions to come out at the same time? And is there any info on Hybrid's AIO size? Thanks.

HYBRID's are now 240mm. KPE is 360mm.

how much temperature drop should be expected from 240mm to 360mm?

are there pump speed adjustment and water temp reading this time?

gen7 aseket pump?

how long is the card if aio is used ? same as reference pcb?

btw
give me hybrid 280/360 and take my money okay?

pre-orders would be nice...
conversion kits for 3090 would be better...
but 3090 hydro copper ftw3 ultra in a few weeks would be fantastic

This is total Hype! Do you think there will be a 3090 Ti? Or is the 3090 the best it's going to get with this lineup?

It will be the best card. Nvidia CEO said Titan will be called 3090. Titan cards are always top cards in generation.
I think we will see next year 3080 Super, 3070 Super, etc... (around august 2021)

no, new titan is coming, paried with 48g g6.

I just hope the prices for these cards aren't through the roof. Depending on the Step-Up difference in cost, I'm wondering if it's more effective to sell my 2080 Ti on OfferUp, since 2080 Ti prices have skyrocketed.

Samsung yields are low, and there is not going to be allot of stock especially the 3090.

Can you provide a reliable source for this information?

Tom from moore's law is dead youtube channel, who was more than 90% right on the leaks, said he was given a specific count of 3090 cards and it was a quarter of what the 2080Ti was. Plus they didn't even give the first reviewer one. I think stock is going to be terrible, maybe not enough just for the people in this thread.

the size of socket mounting holes?
seems to be different again...wonder nzxt g12 or other third party coolers would support that.

These are just really ugly. Why did you guys go with that color scheme for the FTW3? 10 series: good. 20 series: good. 30 series. Falls off a damn cliff. I was so sure that this was going to be my first flagship EVGA card, but now it's so difficult. I can easily live with a eccentric design in the name of good cooling aka melted plastic shroud. There was just no attention to aesthetics at all, even with it wouldn't impact performance. Disappointing, low effort stuff.

Hopefully they're added to the step up program ASAP.

And please consider a step up policy exception/extension/revision from 90 days to six months maximum, even if only for Turing-->Ampere upgrades...since not too long ago, I patiently waited out the mining craze, periods of high demand and limited availability, all the while working really, really hard to save up enough $ for a 2080 ti hybrid, and finally got one...in May

PS - Pretty please with sugar on top.

Really can't second this hard enough, I got my 2080 Super in February after hearing how much I should rush ahead and build before covid and I feel seriously burnt.

Hey guys, I've read through this whole thread and seen the length you listed for the XC3 3090...11.23 inches might not fit in my case, even with a waterblock, but I am wondering specifically if the PCB on the XC3 is as long as the cooler, or if it's similar to the Asus and FE offerings where the PCB is shorter than the cooler. If it was shorter, say at or near the length of the 20 series FE PCB's, that would be ideal for cases like mine when watercooled.

If you guys have no answer to these shorter more compact options I may have to go Asus or FE this generation :(

Re: Introducing the EVGA GeForce RTX 30 Series with iCX3 Technology! 2020/09/02 02:53:38 (permalink)
Apologies if these questions have already been answered.

In the past, how much more expensive have the FTW3/XC3 models been over the MSRP quoted?

Also, I have a question about the step-up program. Due to my own impatience, and need of an upgrade, I purchased a 2070 super on Aug 30th. I plan to take advantage of the step-up program and have already registered my gpu. Based off my understanding, as long as the new series cards are released and put on the step-up list within 90 days of my purchase, I will be eligible to queue up for the card. Even if the step-up card is out of stock for however long, as long as I queue up within the 90 days, I will be good. Correct?

Thanks in advance!

Will there be any stock in the eu store on the 17th? That store has been pretty lackluster in recent times, with missing products and low stock.

I have to be honest, I'm not all that torn up about the design of the new cards. In fact they look quite tacky. I guess its the visuals on screen that matter though

Well that was on purpose I guess. I think evga sold out their "old" cards to 3rd party sellers to keep the warehouses clean fur ampere and not have to drop the prices on turing so much. πŸ˜‰

I like the new design. Still on the fence between the 3080 and the 3090.

Question: will a Hybrid kit be offered for the FTW3 and/or XC3?

Preference is for the Hybrid but I’ll buy what I can get my hands on. However, it’ll make it easier to pick up an air-cooled knowing I can convert down the road.

I'm hoping to snag a KingPin or Hybrid. I'm actually surprised that the KingPin is a 360 Rad and the Hybrid a 240 Rad. Things look promising with this gen.

They Hydro are tempting this time around.  Did an EK block on a reference PCB last time around and hoping to avoid it this time.

That KPE will cost $2000+ its a total ripoff but id like to see a version without that stupid built in watercooling and just give us a hydrocopper at $200-$300 less. For one the 3090 is overpriced as it is and ill be getting the 3080 and buying a EK block unless its cheaper to buy the  hydrocopper. But if stock doesn't stay high expect the 3070 to cost $1200 and it only goes up from there
