If you notice all my avatars are only head shots. Those of you that have been around here long enough know that I am into pin up photography. After several warnings I wised up and cropped the pictures, leaving the best parts to the imagination. I like it here, and don't mind playing by the rules, and when my 10 year old son who is really into this hobby sits with me, I don't want him reading, or worse, SEEING something rude or crude.

this subject always reminds me of the WOW complaint a few years back, were concerned parents complained about beer fest lol well its sort of the same.(good headshot johny oooh dont know about that beer fest though its glammerising drinking)

im not saying itll even likely be plausibly successful but itll be better use of your time then saying its wrong of the mods to do their job

I fail to see the similarity. A) WoW... violent game. B) EVGA... family friendly forum. A & B have nothing in common. Beer and half-naked women, they go hand in hand with violent games, in fact, a lot of them have both, if not fully naked women. Keep them there. Then again, it's part of the game, that's why there is an ESRB rating. EVGA is the "ESRB" of this forum, they own it, and they say "Family Friendly". No further discussion is needed, it is what it is. If you just want to drool on your keyboard while staring a pics of half naked women, well, number one you should step away from your drool drenched keyboard, then get a life. If that isn't possible, start your own forum, and then get a whole bunch of lonely guys, with nothing better to do, to sign up and start posting pics. Then you can all drool together, separately. 
Got some stuff in a plastic box that's makes my screen turn on when I push the button on the front, cool. I think it's aliens, but I'll have to confirm with voodoo do-er on that.

.....and that's basically our goal here. To make it so that you can sit there with your son and feel ok that nothing is going to be seen that shouldn't. The forums used to be much worse and we have drastically improved not only the images on the forums, but the content and language by creating a TOS that protects visitors like your 10 year old son. Guys, those of you that want want to argue about what we have determined shouldn't be allowed should go and visit other sites. It's what EVGA wants and maintaing a little class should really be commended. Just move on if you don't like the rules.

I did violate the TOS in that thread and it was a pure bone head move on my part. I had started it clean but ended up with a TOS warning on the second. So in all in all I admit fault in that thread!

Time for this thread to come to a close. The simple fact is, we likely would have let the thread go, but three consecutive pictures involved implied toplessness, more skin than we ever allow here, and one picture had only an unworn shirt covering a woman. As this happened early on, the thread likely would have continued in this manner.
We say this all the time, but contact a moderator if you want to check if a photo or link is within the TOS. We may say no, but it prevents things like this from happening.
