People have avatars that are just as bad as anything posted in that short lived thread.
And just so you know, I'm not upset, it just seems a little odd that it's allowed in some places and not in others.

I think it's funny that people that think they should be mods participate in that thread, knowingly breaking the TOS. Other users, who also well know it's against the TOS, participate too, and admit waiting for the moderators to warn them. Facepalm.

I would hate to see something posted here, that would cause a 17 year old to ask his parents a uncomfterable question. It would be awfull, if our standards were lower than lets say TV, or a fassion magazine. Next thing you know they will be wanting to use sexy models at comdex or a car show. then what, sociaty would fail, and the world would end

As much as i don't like it ..... RJ is certainly correct that it is a tos issue ..... however personally I thought it eas a fun way to blow off some steam on a Sunday and took no offense to it at all . Not my forum though.

Everyone has a right to their opinion. Fact of the matter is the TOS is for the family friendly forum. Not for a select few to argue if it is to strict or not. Please just respect what RJ has done and move on. That thread started clean and had good intentions. A select few pushed to far. We are always looking into the Avatars and getting them changed or we have the TOS violating ones removed. If you see any that are offensive continue to report them. You are our best eyes...

Maybe if the title of the thread was cleaned up a bit, or better ground rules were set by the original OP, then maybe it wouldnt have been locked. but its probably for the best. no sense in arguing over something that wont be overturned.

serieus: That avatar was discussed with EVGA management and me some time ago. We can not determine if she is wearing lingerie or a swimsuit so we let it go. If someone can verify for certain with evidence that she is wearing lingerie then I will have it pulled on that basis. Some people have also said it's a halter top.

I'm one of those people that had to change my last Avatar because Olivia was in a skimpy swimsuit. So I changed it without an argument. I haven't been told in all these past months that my current one is bad, or against the TOS. My Avatar is wearing clothes. I don't think there's a problem with it.

The sexy avatar I had was never wearing lingerie in a photo shoot that was partially sponsored via EVGA. I only posted the photos that I thought were decent.

Yeah I mean I wasn't going to point fingers because I find it a bit silly myself, but I know rules are rules. Perhaps I only saw the thread after the bad images were removed by RJ or something, but what I saw wasn't anything bad at all or anything you don't see on every other commercial on television. Also, what's the difference in lingerie and most swimwear?
Just so I'm clear, I'm not trying to push the issue a ridiculous amount as I really don't care, I'm just curious. Also, the best pic posted in that thread was the naked rear of that Lambo :)
And HeavyHemi and I know we have the same avatar. I don't know which of us had it first, but we like to have our avatars rocking out next to one another from time to time for good measure :)
