Disclaimer:
All of that is based on my personal experience.

GPU looks not bad, but imo too much plastic for such expensive card. GTX 780Ti had steel frame and felt robust and this one feels cheap AF. Installation process is pretty straightforward except those super duper sticky foil covers.
After installation...
PS. My previous GPU was MSI 1080Ti which i have sold due: Coil whinning.

Continuing:
That GPU is extremly loud... Definitely louder than MSI air "Equivalent"
This GPU made my entire rig loud, which is based on R6 TG case + 4/5 Silent wings 3 140mm.
The pump does buzzing sound*
*My radiator is installed on the top of my case. I have shaken out the GPU in order to get rid of possible air bubbles stuck near the pump.
The Graphic card has a @Q#$%$%(*$%!@$##@^%^*&^%*^ coil whine...
The gpu was manufactured just 2 months ago...

So I have switched the stock fan which is pretty effective in terms of getting rid of the heat.
My current GPU rad fan is guess what. Be quiet silent wings 3 120mm.
At not audible level of sound pressure i get 75*C
At max fan speed which is 1400 RPM. I get 65* on the GPU and 70+ on the ram/VRM, but it's nowhere compared to Gaming X trio in terms of loudness.
Pump buzzing is at least as loud as BQSW3 120mm at max rpm.

I am severily dissapointed because i expected no coil whinning, no pump buzzing and no 3k RPM fan that makes my rig's silence investment totally worthless.

I have only few options.
RMA it, ask for another Hybrid SC2.
RMa it, ask for FTW3 air-cooled as replacment.

The one consistent issue across all their Hybrid models is the rad fan. The inability to control that via the GPU is the worst fault. It is noisy. However, knowing that and being the owner of lots of 120mm Scythe GT spares I was prepared for that. I run push/pull ~950 rpm, pretty much inaudible. The pump buzzing is hit or miss. However check and see if how your rad is mounted is amplifying the noise. On my prior AIO I put a small felt pad on top of the AIO pump between the housing and the pump cover.  If you run the the system without the rad attached to the case for testing, is it quieter? Mine was transmitting a hum via the hose to the rad which created a hum in the case. Rubber washers eliminated that. Since I am installing the AIO's myself, I've a bit more options in doing things to prevent noise when its in use.

Card pump should be silent. I've never had coil whine in every card I've owned but an amd 7970 cards.

The whine may go away with time..

Those temps seem super high to me. Pump noise and all, I'd say bad pump.

Don't take this wrong, but if you can't hear that fan at 100%, you need your hearing checked. That fan is not quiet at all.

Corsair sp120 hp? Nope. Just air flow.. no whine or high pitch sound over the rest of my case.

There has to be something wrong with your rig as my 1080TI SC barely breaks 40C and it's folding 24-7.

    I contacted EVGA, as expected:
    RMA.

I asked them if they can send me AIR FTW3 over SC2 Hybrid as a replacment (I want to avoid another buzzing pump!).
They rejected my request even though it's not like I'm asking for an upgrade...

There is nothing wrong. It's the summer, temps are great. With my top dust filter removed i get about 49/50 degrees.

That's not how RMA works though, you can't request a different product. If they had no stock then they would send you what they think is best as a replacement.

Good luck with your next card though, hopefully all your issues will be solved and you'll be happier with the new card!

    Well...
My opinion may be biased, but i think it wouldn't be big of a deal.
As i said, I didn't ask for an upgrade.
    "It's not how RMA works".
I get it, but hey, they will (or not due to unknown reason) have to exchange it anyway since coilwhine is not repairable, or maybe is, but that would require complete desolder and replacing SMD components.
It's not like I treat EVGA as a warehosue, and I'm not the customer that wants to replace fully working, non malfunctioning device.
Btw. What if i will want to sell gpu, my unit has 34 months warranty according to S/N.
Does EVGA replace it with an equivalent or they might send me back a GPU that has 3 months left according to it's S/N?
Do they send "used=/repaired GPU's as a replacment?

How long have you owned your GPU? I think they will send a refurb as a replacement in most cases. When I RMA'd my 1070 Ti ultra silent they gave me another brand new one as I RMA'd it straight away (within the first few days). Depends on the situation though - I'm also in Europe not NA.

As per the warranty situation, if you sell your GPU that you received as an RMA, it only carries on the original warranty for the original owner (you). If someone buys it, there's only 1 year warranty from the date the GPU was shipped back as an RMA. I know this because a few months ago I bought a 1050 Ti, the seller sold it as new. Once I contacted EVGA to find out the remaining warranty, they told me it had 3 months left because it was a return from an RMA 9 months prior. Needless to say I returned the GPU to who sold me it (thankfully I used PayPal on that one). Referring to my own RMA, because I'm keeping my 1070 Ti Ultra Silent and have no plans to ever sell it, the extended warranty I have (7 years) will stay intact of course.

The above isn't so clear because it's not explicitly mentioned anywhere, but that's just my experience after contacting EVGA support here in EU.

You DID in fact ask for an upgrade.  The FTW3 is an upgrade over the SC Hybrid as the FTW3 is the top tier card from EVGA.  This is like trying to exchange your twin turbo V6 mustang because you don't like the sounds of the intercoolers and demanding you get a V8 version free of charge.  It doesn't work that way.

Is it me, or does it seem we are getting more and more people who don't seem to understand what tiers and products lines are?

Hate to hear your having problems with your sc2 hybrid. I absolutely love mine. It did have a little coil whine when i first got it, but it quickly worked itself out.

Mine runs great, quiet, cool, and is a hell of an overclocker. Hope you get your issues sorted out soon. This is my first EVGA card and very very happy with it.

I replaced the original fan with Noctua NF F12 PWM - the fan is nearly inaudible at full speed, but the temps are 3-4 higher than with the original fan. Is it normal?

What did you think about these fan's?

That's pretty normal considering the decrease in airflow and noise.

To use any PWM fan, I suggest getting a GPU 4 pin adapter and plugging it into the GPU fan header to get fan speed control, bypassing the standard RPM vs fluid temperature configuration. You will need to unscrew the plastic shroud to get access to the header behind the DVI port.
