All in Ultra 1440p 140/110fps, in some maps 90 as minimum depends all effects. I dont recommend optimize games with Geforce Experience because with my 1080ti SC2 the resolution scale to 150 or more

Heh, I hadn't thought of that; I keep the scale at 110. Still, since I've uninstalled Precision my frame rates went right back up to where they were. Mind you, the latest version of Precision I noticed a huge drop in frame rates, not with the prior versions.

Is the prior to the latest version of Precision available to download somewhere?  And if it is, is it compatible with the 1080 Ti FTW3?

I don't see why it wouldn't, it worked fine with my 1080 TI FE...and yeah you can download it here:  https://www.evga.com/EVGA/GeneralDownloading.aspx?file=EVGA_PrecisionX_OC_Setup_v6.1.4.exe&survey=16.1.4

Or go to the EVGA Service-Software-Precision. All the latest version are at the bottom of the page once you click on Precision from 6.0.0 to 6.1.6

I only had problems with the 6.1.6 and that was because it downclocked my gpu to idle frequencies and locked it there.

I sort of fixed my issue, I have a Gigabyte motherboard and was using their software, App center. It was playing complete havoc on Gears of War 4 and found out via a search online that it did so, after uninstalling App Center GOW4 was fixed, and my Battlefield 1 FPS went up noticeably as well. I still dip to 88-90 occasionally in large scale multiplayer, but I mostly stay at 95-100, Ultra, 3440x1440. Nothing like the 50-80 I was seeing.

I'm still using the latest version of XOC, but I'm wondering if it's causing conflicts as well.

Morning folks,

Just a quick question on what sort of frames people are getting in BF1 with the 1080ti FTW3?
I'm running ultra at 1440p and only averaging around 90fps with dips as low as the 70s. It feels low for a ti. Could anyone running similar post what they are getting please?

Also running at 6700k oc'd to 4.5.

Cheers.

You might want to try creating a user.cfg in your game directory and write this line in it:
GstRender.Thread.MaxProcessorCount 8

Redleader, I take it this user config file for the processor is supposed to ensure all cores, actual and theoretical, are used by BF1? How well does this work? I have not tried this.

It just changes the max cores the game can use. IIRC it always leaves some for whatever other things the SO needs. The framerate seems more stable with my old i7-920 (x299 can't arrive fast enough).
The good thing is that you can try it and see how it works for your pc. If you do not like it you can just remove the file and everything goes back to where it was. It has no side effects.

Man, did this ever make the game load faster! Thank you. Always at the end of the round the awards page was slow to load too and this fixed that for me also. Now the highlights page just pops up. IDK about the fps, since I've got mine locked to the refresh rate of my monitor now at 145hz but loading the game, the highlights page, and exiting the game are much quicker now. It's like night and day difference. Thanks again!

Glad it helped.
I wonder why DICE doesn't talk about this option more. It works great for many people.

Hey Guy,
I ran across a review the other day on the 1080 TI and I haven't tried it myself but I was getting low fps around 90 like you. I read in the review that its a windows 10 but Nvidia and Microsoft are doing the blame game on performance issues. Anyways, I read that When Windows 10 is upgraded to Anniversary you lose FPS, and I had creators update and got a error code 43 and card would not display.  It's suggested not to update to those. I am not sure if they are actually going to fix it since they keep blaming each other and there is a mention of 2080 coming out in Q3 floating around the internet. I actually came here checking into the setup program. It will be another week but I can reinstall Windows 10 fresh with no updates. its something to explore if your out of options.

TL:DR but I had similar issues, I used DDU to wipe all drivers from my system, installed the latest drivers using Gefore Experience, then updated to the latest windows version (Creators Update v1703) and now I'm getting over 100+fps at 1440p. Give this a shot and see if it works.

Cheers

3440 x 1440 everything on ultra, scaling on 100% and field of view on 90.
I average 88 - 90 FPS with dips to 6x. (Mostly when the game zooms up or down into the respawn menu.)

CPU: I5 4690K (Non overclocked)
Ram: 8 gb corsair 1600 mhz dominator
HDD: 3 HD's in raid.

Have to say BF1 runs a lot slower than for example the Witcher 3. :-)
