How do I override fan control on a evga 1660ti graphics card

How do I override fan control on a evga 1660ti graphics card. thx :)

    Use precision x1 to control the fans.

    With EVGA Precision X1 or MSI Afterburner.

    No those apps won't control the fans. It's overridden by the bios I think. :/

    Use precision x1 to control the fans.

    With msi afterburner the fans are greyed out no control. As if evga won't allow. Will precision x1 override that? thx

    Odd. You should be able able to control the fans from either msi afterburner or px1 as your card doesn't come with additional icx2 sensors. Do the fans on your card work at all?

    sounds like your card is Not Listed in AB, may have to edit the file .... or look for a check box to enable that feature

    Thx for everyone's help. :) Found out that I was running that card in windows 8.1 and it needs windows 10. So I installed windows 10 and it fixed the issue.
