Well i guess I'm not going to sale it here then like I've been a member here since 2010. I dont have time to make 35 more worthless posts. When these rules probably weren't even around in 2010

They’ve been around for a long time. They were the rules back in 2013 at least.

Its a requirement. We members went through that and it shouldn't be a problem for you to post something you know or have knowledge of or is even related to you in a thread.
    Welcome aboard.

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

I get it man. just to sell a card, you have to post 35 more times. Just do what everybody else does, and post unnecessary posts to rack the amount of posts to reach 50. Believe me, everybody does it. You wouldn't believe the ridiculous posts people make on here. lol

A good recommendation would be the comical thread where you post funny stuff, or the counting thread, or "what are you listening to" thread.

^ I know, ive been here since 2009 myself. Matter of fact, I didn't even know about that rule until I had way over the limit anyway.

You could try emailing EVGA and see if one of the techs will waive it for you. I'm pretty sure that's the best suggestion people would offer you here, and i'm not sure if the mods are able to break the rules when it comes to this. They're under certain rules too, I think so.

You could do that too. Obviously they're trying to encourage activity within the forums, and bring new members to participate within them.

Hey, if Atfrico can do it, you surely can!  Here's a thread idea for you: Your experience with the Kingpin card.
Then you could double your fun, here and in your other thread. Welcome lurker!!

Many of us might be leery buying an item from someone with only a few posts. Also we tend to put in a good word for sellers we have dealt with. It’s a good place to sell once you have a foot in the door.

Do note that I have heard of people being rejected from being allowed to sell in the market if their posts were "too" spammy. I'm not clear on where the line is there however. Something like "1" "2" "3" chain-posting would be rejected, but I think a conversation would be OK, even if there's an alternated motive involved.

    Welcome back to the forum.

I don't see how the number of posts is relevant, when people buy things on ebay all the time not knowing who people are - when there's more people that get screwed on that site than the evga market place. I honestely haven't heard of such a thing tbh of people getting ripped off the evga market place. Never heard of that...

Visuals are always the MO when it comes to a customer (photos, videos, etc.) choosing something to buy, not a person's amount of posts. Just saying...

There are a lot of people who avoid eBay and other places precisely because of that reason. People do flock to ebay and are willing to take their chances. Some folks would prefer not to do so and would rather make a purchase from someone they feel they know.

There are several reasons why that rule went into effect. #1 is to marginalize the drive-by scammers. They don't have time to screw with 50 posts. Then again, many people do not have time to screw with 50 posts either. The marketplace is a perk for the forum regulars, that was the original justification for it's existence. Those that put their time into using the forum were being given back the option to trade and do sales between each other. It was never meant for people to drop hardware for listing and never show up again for 8 years. Be glad it's only 50 posts. I proposed 100 originally.

Bro, nobody here cares.  Follow the rules, or go somewhere else.  No need to complain about the rules.  We all follow the same rules; no exceptions.

I proposed 100 originally.
bro I've been buying cards here since gtx460 just cause I don't post doesnt mean I dont troll

Just telling you the justification of why things are the way they are. I didn't expect you to like it.
