This would be a conflict with the Nahimic API.

    What motherboard are you using?

I am experiencing the same problem and also have an ASUS motherboard.

Today, I received and tried to install a Nu Audio Card I had ordered.  The RGB logo lights up and there is a click sound during system power on.  The device doesn't show up in device manager.  After downloading and installing the EVGA installation file, the dialog box initiates a PC restart when selecting "yes".  After the restart is complete a dialog box pops up and says to restart and try the installer again.

For troubleshooting, I booted into safe mode and ran DDU, removing any installed GPU or audio drivers.  I then tried to reinstall Nu Audio but still receiving the installation failed error message.

I saw many of the same problems. Is this unsolvable?

I have the same issue. I'm using a Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z. only 2.1.10 driver does it. 2.1.07 works fine.

to everyone having issues I recommend installing v2.1.07 until they release a fix. when downloading from the driver page. uncheck show latest version then It will show all the past driver builds

    I will advise you so
install the latest drivers, after prompted to restart the system do it. This is followed by the error dialog and prompt to install the drivers again, but do it by upgrading the already installed drivers. Do not remove the already placed folders in their places, there is simply no need.
For me, this has been working since many versions, I always get normal work after upgrading.
