is this natural?
My 4090 is way faster than what they are doing at only 510w

    Nope, do not want to volt mod my card then there is the possibility of yeeting it, lastly due to ASUS Support/Warranty is painful to deal with. Would rather not deal with that as long as possible.

    I would mostly be afraid something might go wrong with the card unless I had an overclocking test bench and was going for a record. I really don't see the point since a 4090 will tear through any game you put it up against.

    I am already using the Galax HOF 1000W vBIOS on my 4090 Suprim X. No issues. You can't exhaust the power limit with gimped voltage. It won't use the excess because it can't. The good thing about having a high power limit is you eliminate that (power limit) as a performance bottle neck. The CPU or GPU won't use more power than it needs to or is capable of using with limited voltage. I do not need to worry about temperatures... everything is nice and cool.

    Here's how my Suprim X looks with the 1000W Strix 4090 vBIOS running an MSI Kombustor stress test. Core and memory both overclocked to 3.0GHz.

    So I taught myself some Ram overclocking and timing tightening , last couple of days, and it made my card run more stable at higher clocks,
    Got it to run a stress test at 3045 mhz /23.6K mem @50C +10% perf increase
    Stock is 2780 mhz / 21K mem @44C 0% perf increase
    Undervolt = 2820 mhz / 23.4K mem @41C +5% perf increase

    Great to know the bios running well on a Suprim X.  Thanks for sharing.

    I've run the Asus 1kw bios some on my TUF.  Works well, but unless you are going to volt mod, it doesn't offer any benefit over the Galax 666w bios.  I did make some runs like this one with the EVC2 and ~1.15v on the core.  Pulled around 750w.  About all it did is put my core clock close to the golden sample cards.

    BTW, is the Galax 1kw bios out in the wild anywhere?  I haven't found it on TPU yet.  Don't really expect it to offer more performance than the other 2 bios anyway, but would like to try it at some point.
