First card would not put out a signal on the HDMI port to 2 different monitor/cable combinations that worked on other system. RMA'd card back no problem... thank you.
Second card worked right out of the box - yay!
But...
Noticed that HDMI signal would occasionally be lost if PC case or cabling was bumped or jostled. Wiggling the HDMI cable does nothing, have to unplug and resocket the cable to restore picture. As time passed, this behavior has gotten worse and worse. Now if the case or cable get disturbed in any way (cat) the HDMI connection is lost. Now sometimes having to resocket the cable a few times to get signal back. I have tried multiple HDMI cables from cheap to bloody expensive and they all do the same thing.
I've also noted others in this forum with HDMI connection issues as well. Wonder how many other customers got RMA's without posting anything in forum. If this connector is supposed to be of good quality, eVGA should consider changing suppliers based on these experiences.
Will this be covered by 3 year warranty?
