You'll just need to use nvflash to flash it to your card.

Oh, I almost forgot... You'll need to use this special version of nvflash to flash the card.

Okay it seems like I managed to do it, I have some questions tho. After completing the flash I restarted my computer. And when it restarted a message popped up saying "your pc has ran into a problem :(" in blue or something similar. The pc then restarted again and everything seems to work fine. Is that normal? and lastly, the max power limit in msi afterburner now says 100%, it was 110% before? is this just some kind of bug? Thanks!

Sounds like your computer blue screened for some reason. 100% max power limit is normal.

Hello again, it seems like everything is working like it should. But im still very limited by voltage, I honestly didn't get much of a improvement. Are you sure that it is impossible to raise the voltage? And thanks once again for all the help, i really appreciate it! :)

Hey, I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. I went to 1093Mhz in Voltage/Frequency curve editor, and there was no white line, only a yellow line to start with. I'm also unsure if there is a specific Mhz I should be aiming for, since this uses the V/F curve instead of a solid +Mhz overclock.

That definitely helped. Unfortunately I was only able to accomplish this after one step. Another concern I have is, since I have an EVGA iCX card, will I need to run both Precision OC X and MSI Afterburner to ensure both my fans will be curved based on MSI settings? Do I need to adjust sliders in Precision OC X as well? I feel like the overclocking utilities could conflict with each other, and playing with both produced different monitoring results depending on how I changed settings in both.

Yes, I'd recommend only using xoc for your fan curves, then use msi afterburner for everything else... monitoring, overclocking, etc.

Thanks for the guide. I have been running a voltage curve for over a year but did not setup like this. And I think I like my current way better as the GPU doesn't sit all the time at max clock when all I'm doing is web browsing. My 1080FTW sits at 31C, and ramps up to my max OC (2075Mhz) based on my voltage curve when I game. Am I missing something here?

No problem. To fix the max clock issue just open the voltage/frequency curve editor and press ctrl+l again, then click apply. Issue should be resolved.

Fixing the voltage seems problematic to me. I always get PWR throttled at some point. I got: EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 Device ID 6996 Bios 86.02.39.41.92 127% power 100% voltage 90c temp 1093v voltage No adjustment clock offset

Is your card able to hit 127% power?

Yes man, I even hit that 130% but it didn't throttle that soon. Plus, my temps are not that bad. I'm not sure if this is an action of GPU Boost 3. Is there a way to turn it off? By the way, I'm on driver 411.70.

Hitting the pwr limit is normal. The only way to disable the pwr limit would be to load a custom vbios onto your card that either raises the pwr limit or disables it entirely. Pascal cards are locked down though, so you won't be able to flash a custom vbios onto your card unless you can get some support from someone who has access to editing pascal vbios's.
