Today I saw a thin green line on my screen, I reinstall the gpu driver and it's still there, so can anyone know what cause of this green line. I have EVGA GTX 1080TI SC2 HYBRID and I7 7700k for 4 years.

Ensure the cable is certified and not a cheaply manufactured cable.

Is FCAT overlay enabled in EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner? The FCAT overlay creates a line of various colors.

Most likely your panel is going bad.

This pretty much confirms the driver board for the panel is going bad. Does changing resolution change where the line is on the display?

+3 Vertical rows like that are from a failing panel. A solder connection someplace failed.
Have water, will cool.

Definitely time for a new monitor. Unless you can live with a green line

That happened to one of my monitors around 2015, just a bad panel. The dead line is on the left side of the monitor so I've since relegated it to portrait mode for reading comics and I haven't lost any more lines since. I honestly forgot it was there until I saw this thread.

As others have said, most likely the panel. Hopefully it doesn't progress too quickly.

I concur most likely the panel is going out on u. Its under way more stress at 144 then at 60.

Like other's have said it's more than likely an issue with the monitor.

I had the same issue, and it was 100% the monitor. Maybe try on a TV or another monitor if you have one. But if i had to guess, it's almost certainly not the card that is causing that problem.
