Hi!
I recently started to get artifacts on the left side of my screen during 3d apps or games.  Started about a week ago.
I didn't update anything or didn't notice anything wrong with the computer:  one day, they just appeared.
No new drivers, no odd temps, smells, new overclocking or anything.

Rig:
9900k
32gigs ram Corsair
EVGA 2080ti FTW Ultra-- 2 years old (unfortunately out of warranty as I bought it from cyberpower pc-- didn't realize the warranty would be different)
z390 ASROCK Taichi Ultimate MB
Acer G-Sync Monitor.

The artifact appears on any 3d app or game, no matter what the size, resolution or even clockspeed/mem usage.  Tried different cables, different monitors...I'm beginning to think its the graphics card, but I don't really want to go down that road, right?  I tried a clean reinstall of drivers, tried several different apps and games...any ideas on what else? I don't have any overclocks on.

Thank you in advance!

Turn off "Show FCAT Overlay" in the EVGA Precision Setup Settings..Find joy.

can't understand why people would use PX1, the interface and OSD is such a mess

MSi AB is better in all regards except the fan control on ICX stuff

Some ppl like it/wanna use it..Anyway, turning off "Show FCAT Overlay" in the EVGA Precision Setup Settings is the solution to the problem at hand.

Take the block off and redo the thermal pate it could have dried out, make sure to put it on gpu die and block just had a nightmare time with fitting a hydro block on my 2080.

Also install the 441.87 nvidia drivers the new ones don't play well with the rtx 2020.

Personally, I'd just simply turn off "Show FCAT overlay" to make it go away.

Thanks so much for the replies-- the FCAT overlay did it!  (I don't actually know how it got turned on...)
Questiion about Precision vs. Afterburner-- I've traditionally used Afterburner, but switched to precision after I got this card.
Is afterburner really that much better?  Or is it a preference thing?  Once I got things set up with Precision, it seems to be fine, but I do like Afterburner's interface somewhat more.
