I made this thread several years ago, and it went really well. i still my self have pretty much the same setup, but I did change allot gear wise, and its of course in a different spot.

yes, all of that is connected together. i also have a 360 but i genraly dont play it to often so i keep it upstairs on another large tv for movies and netflix. 
 
the sound system has its own sound card and runs off a toslink to the reciever. the z5500 runs off the stock card, and i also run an FIIO E7 DAC\headphone amp via USB for my AKG K550's whcih i sometimes game with, also have the coirsair vengence for chatting :P its quite the sweet setup. i also have a mini fridge behind me so it's a pretty badass setup :)

LOL that's the exact same desk as mine, except I'm missing that center support piece for the top surface. Other than that, perfect desk for HTPC setups!

i wrote a very in depth review of the keyboard from a gamers perspective. i didn't cover allot of the none gamer features but this keyboard is loaded with anything a keyboard could ever need or use short of an auto typer.  but short of a mic, it's not very far off. lol

I built my station to fit inside my tiny bedroom. My monitor is attached to a swing out wall mount, which is attached to the upper unit of the station, and I can swing it out for better viewing from my bed, when watching movies or tv.
