Well could not bring myself to possibly ruin my HP BB 002 case so I got my hands on a Dell XPS 710/720 full tower case.
Going to fully tear it down, cut out some of the fat. Paint in green, should be fun. Going to go with the xbox 360 halo 3 colors, will paint with spray paint, a lot of wet sanding, acrylic, stencils and finally clear coat. But its a work in progress and it getting there=)

they are there. these cases had 680i and 780i nvidia motherboards in them.

yeah i have modded alienwares, dell xps, and hp bb's lol, They can be alot of fun or you are scared to mod them when they are a rare case that goes up in value because collectors will pay more.

Um, that is a BTX case (the extruded H bracket that holds up the CPU socket location in the inside view gave it away, here a picture of an older Antec mBTX case).  The standoffs locations as well as I/O port won't align with ATX no matter which way you orient it.  You're in for some serious effort to make it happen.  I wish you luck and I will watch this closely.

Wow... I had a build using that Antec case back in 2007. Eventually ended up trading that build for a laptop around 2009, and the person who ended up with that build was still using it until earlier this year.

Going to be fun honestly, got the power tools warmed up and waiting.

well motherboard is up and running on a box for right now and got the spraypaint, ordered the orange cable extensions, and the MM XL ATX motherboard tray...

I think this will turn out nice!

Nice, looking forward to this mod.  I just returned my dads XPS system.  They are nice solid cases but crap are they heavy... not exactly a LAN Party friendly case but for a stationary machine they are a nice set of armor for any rig.  My opinion I would paint the inside orange to give it some nice contrast to the outside.  I really hope you do a nice window mode cuz it would be a shame to hide the guts, especially with that nice looking mobo and GPU!
 

Yeah that bevel in the middle is pretty quirky to work with.  Perhaps have a multi-window deal (like an older TT Armor) that would get worked into the techy graphic lines that avoid it?

I never gutted one of those machines.... maybe its the PSU and that gigantic cooler they throw in there that makes it heavy or something.
