back is all cut, trimmed most of the fat out of the case, tray is in place, a bit more fine tuining then its welding time.

well I have it taken all out right now, while I work on it, I have to figure out what colors/connections make the leds orange/yellow/amber. Its doable will get to that once I get to it=) definatly a big project hahaha.

crazy work done, got to decide where to put the hard drive cages, welt it and its all down hill from there. at least the hard part is done. Anything that looks odd will be quicksteeled and sanded in the back.

Have you tried ever pop rivets at any point. Alum and welding not easy at all. Almost to hard. I know i would say away from it. I want so pics of the issue to see first.
 
Can't wait for this. Like i said it makes me want to start a new build. Maybe a Black opps II build for me maybe. I love video game builds.

Well the liquid nails is drying everything clamped down now have to wait x amount of hours. Then its Painting time, will start with painting the inside orange first, then tape off the case for the outside. Paint that, hit it with clear coat, then do my stencils, letters, then the pain on detail, then move to messing with the LED's to find out what wires need to be connected for yellow. Finally all the hardware will go in. I may need to make a new power button.

I must agree with moose, imo it looks too much like the girly green. It still looks great its just a little distracting. could be lighting as well

The green is just a base coat, it will be getting a watered down flat black dry brush. to give it more of the appeal of the 360. the sunlight also makes it beam out with the gloss.

Yeah im also going to put a glowing Geforce logo onto/in the shroud.

This is brilliant, you made it happen, I'm impressed.  Colors do seem light compared to the Xbox 360, but you mentioned first coat, how many layers are being planned?
 
Now I wait for your presentation of indoor shots with the hardware inside.

Well the major painting done, will take pics in a bit, last up is stencils, hand painted artwork, dry brushing in fake wear/tear,  clear coat.... then the fun part figure out what wires make the leds from dell orange/yellow/amber whatever it is....
